5% seems like nothing these days though, I expect bigger bargains!

Not sure if this is any use to anyone, but the travel mugs in poundland linked below are ace. We bought one last year, which my DH uses daily to take a coffee in the car in the mornings. Unlike the double walled, more expensive mugs you get at service stations & coffee shops, it goes in the dishwasher and doesn't end up with water getting between the layers. Looks as good today as it did a year ago.

Could be made into a little coffee lovers hamper with some coffee/biscuits/sprinkles etc, or a gardeners hamper with the seeds on earlier thread/knee pad/gloves etc.

Or a teachers present for playground duty!

Joymaker it was me looking for Raa Raa sets!

I thought I'd got a bargain getting the set on Amazon for £4.99 til (on the recommendation of this thread!) I went into TK Maxx and saw them for £3.99, damnit!

However, my local one isnt very big and although has the Raa Raa set in, it hasnt had the elephant (is it Huffty?!) set in ever, according to a staff member so to complete the set I'm keeping a look-out on ebay/amazon but I've not seen one for below about a tenner yet....

Just been to catch up on my threads and every single one is in the Christmas section. Not that I'm excited or anything!

The stupid thing is, I'm going on my summer holiday on Monday and so I should be in summer mode still.

Right back from real life shopping. I bought a great cookbook for DS from the works for £1.99. Got loads of stocking bits in the £1 shop and £ stretchers. The big dcs now have:

A big tube of smarties,
A small packet if moshi monsters/hello kitty figures,
Moshi monsters/hello kitty travel drawing pad and pens,
Fingerless gloves with fold over mittens (primark £2 a pair!!!)
Spider-Man/Minnie mouse scrub mits.

Ds2 got a lovely monkey with a wheat bag inside. He's going to be 1 on the 8 yh dec so there's not a lot I can out in his stocking but thought that would be nice.

I'm done. All shopping finished. So why can't I leave this thread?!
