Has anyone seen anything bargainous for an 8 yo who loves fast cars please? He has scaletrix and doesn't need any more cars for that. Budget around £15 but would like to get him something worth a lot more iyswim.

Mama Rapidough is great fun. I remember a friend getting very excited about her turn, jumped up to get cracking, slipped backwards and fell back into chair then chair went over. All we could see were her legs in the air. So funny. Couldn't help her either as was laughing too much!

MooseyMoo · 18/10/2013 11:39

This is a cute wooden money bank at £3.99 (as an amazon add on, so need to make basket up to £10 I think to qualify):

There's an alligator version too:

Mellowandfruitful · 18/10/2013 12:03

Sorry but can anyone post which micro scooter is was that was on offer? Can't see it not very perceptive today

Confusedbyyou · 18/10/2013 12:09

It was only the mini micro so saving about £10-£15 I think.

Now if it was the maxi for £40 I could understand the excitement ...

joymaker · 18/10/2013 12:09

Now DS2 is asleep I can post bargains Smile

Can't remember who (sorry) but someone was looking for Raa Raa the Noisy Lion things. TK Maxx Had lots. The figure pack with Hufty,Topsy and Zebby 3.99, Hufty and his train and Raa Raa with the Cubby buggy were both under half of thr rrp I think.

Sainsbury's in store had childrens party tablecloths, 90p from 3, plates and cups 10p, character ones 20p dinosaur, cat and lion and giraffe candles at 20p a pack and all sorts of party bag fillers as cheap so stocked up.

They also had bed linen at rock bottom prices. I'm an Egyptian cotton girl myself but couldn't resist buying 3x king size dovet cover sets for 3 pounds each from 30 pounds for the spare bedroom. Worth checking your local store if you have people staying with you over Christmas.

LaT you are so naughy tempting us with that site! Those items are uber gorgeous so I suppose are bargains of a sort Wink I have bookmarked! Thanks for sharing

minsmum · 18/10/2013 12:17

just got the nails inc offer so thank you whoever posted that

lilolilmanchester · 18/10/2013 12:18

Reastie hats off to you and a huge thank you for this fabulous thread.
I have already posted in chat but wanted to add it here... I ordered a load of great stocking fillers from Amazon yesterday, mainly following postage free and totally bargainous offers from this thread. However, it ended up being c. 15 separate transactions and our credit card company blocked our credit card as a result, with no notice to us (see my other thread here

I repeat, I don't blame this thread in any way, am trying to get hold of someone who I can have a sensible conversation with about how to avoid the situation another time, but thought it only right to make you aware. Thankfully we have debit and other credit cards, but I appreciate it could leave some people a bit stuck.

Aintnobodylovesnanbetter · 18/10/2013 12:19

Poundland had annabel karmel kids cookbooks ( going to make up a baking set for my nephew so ideal to put in it)
Spiderman kids cutlery
Hello kitty calendar
Lots of stationary bits on 3 for 2

FriskyHenderson · 18/10/2013 12:21

Ive Been to Home Bargains but no sign of anything I wanted. I thought the hamper baskets looked a bit cheap but bought them anyway, because they were cheap Blush

Confusedbyyou · 18/10/2013 12:25

lilolilmanchester - sorry to hear about the hassle with your credit card .. but what stocking fillers did you buy with free postage?

Spill!

Can't link at the mo. Some were from the OP list, others were things I just found. The first few, look at OP to get links, links don't seem to have copied over.

Amazon pretty silver heart necklace and matching earrings necklace £1.65 delivered matching earrings £1.22 delivered

Amazon 20 pairs of ear studs for 71p including delivery shock here

Amazon owl pendant 95p delivered here

Amazon flashing/glowing shoelaces £1.76 inc delivery here

Also got touch screen gloves; LCD light up ice cubes; various magnetic book marks; cake toppers (Olly Murs for DD; butterfly ones for her mate) - one of these had postage but only 30p, which was the only postage I paid for.

DreamlessSleep · 18/10/2013 12:33

I did seven transactions through amazon yesterday on my debit card, hope mine is ok.

Confusedbyyou · 18/10/2013 12:33

MistressIggi · 18/10/2013 12:56

Nintendo 3dsxl is £150 on Amazon at the mo - just got an email from Camelcamel so must have registered for a price drop back when I was looking for one.

Hawkmoth · 18/10/2013 13:05

Thank you whoever pointed out the Sainsbury's stationery reductions. Got a lovely box, notebooks, pencil case and pens for DSD for about six quid. I also bought a load of notebooks for myself that I don't need

Pin the tail on the donkey was 60p and I got a 10p Number 8 birthday candle. Chuffed.

There was also a talking OmNom from the Cut The Rope game for half price, but we didn't really look at the toys too much.
