Teenage Girl who has everythings Christmas gift?

My DD (15) is a nightmare to buy for, mainly as she is a bit overindulged by her Dad (only child for him, oldest of 4 for me). She is a good girl and not at all bratty about things, she even sneaks a bit of lego on her Xmas list still but this year is stumping me gift wise. She has all the gadgets..an IPAD, a kindle, a new S4 phone, Tv/DVD/Sky multi room package, MacAir. She has heaps of trainers (her fashion weakness) and regularly goes on little shopping trips for nice gear/perfumes/designer bags. Before I am lambasted for allowing this level of spoiling, I should say that she has never asked for anything really, she is just the outlet for her dads rather deprived upbringing and subsequent success and so I just try to keep her level headed.

Anyone else struggle with the kid who has everything? what are you getting your teenagers?

i thought that as well havingamoment - I missed the Taylor Swift tickets and can't think of anyone else she would love to see. I guess I want her to have something that gives her a 'wow' moment (my issue perchance Hmm)

How about things that she can share with her friends? So a subscription to a local cinema, theatre tickets etc?

Maybe do a night in a hotel along with said show/concert. Like a mini break. My DS had a wkend with his Granny in London for his b'day and he said was beft gift ever. They didn't do anything extraordinary, but all the touristy stuff and shopping, eating out etc.
Or what about a spa/pamper break....
I know what you mean about wanting the 'WOW' factor. In my house, at Christmas and birthdays that is what it's all about and I dnt care if people say the DC are spoilt as long as they are happy.

bit gutted that we have an Odeon near us and they don't do an annual subscription..Cineworld and Vue do one at a few 100 quid unlimited access. Stupid Odeon

Balls. Are there any independents near you? I got given a subscription for a tiny local cinema which was amazing, they did very cool Director's Cut screenings (possibly not so cool for a 15 year old)

Not as a main gift, obviously, but these are very cool.

I've recommended them on here before because they are very unusual, and look amazing in real life - I've bought them for various friends and relatives and they have always been well received (I've bought purple ones).

Sock bouquets!

They're ladies socks which are made to look like flowers, and wrapped up in a big bouquet....It sounds a bit weird without seeing a picture, but they do look lush. Various ebay sellers make them.

what about things to "do" ... cupcake/cakepop books and a hamper of bits and pieces to go with it.

It's a difficult age, I don't like giving money/vouchers but sometimes that's the most appreciated.

For my student DS and his GF I am thinking of doing them a bundle of vouchers - some cinema, some 10 pin bowling, going to look at whether any cheapish food places like Pizza Express/Nandos do vouchers (does anyone know?) to aid their social life but save them money.

If she likes makeup, maybe a makeup-lesson and voucher for makeup, or a pamper/spa day. Box/vanity case for makeup.

Jewellery box (I like the Muji perspective stuff - very practical and modular) & jewellery

My DD is similar age but has an expensive hobby so presents will mainly be to do with that (unhelpful!)

Does she need anything for her bedroom? One year we bought DD a mirror she had been coveting which was more expensive than I would have bought from the pound shop or Wilkos otherwise.

I was like this about my 13yo DD last Christmas (in fact I will be again this year but not thinking about Christmas just yet )

I booked tickets for myself and her to see Mamma Mia in the West End along with an overnight stay in a lovely hotel followed by a day on Oxford Street shopping until we dropped :)

I kept it a surprise until Christmas Day and just put a letter in her stocking (we also have much younger DCs ;) ) telling her where she was going. She loved every minute of it, it probably helped that we live in the sticks and it was her first proper trip to London.

Would love to do it again actually...

My 12 year old (only daughter, so spoiled a little) is going to London with me to see Two Door Cinema Club. We've booked a hotel and we're planning a shopping day the following day. It's the chance to connect as mom and daughter. For Christmas I'm planning to buy her something nice from Jack Wills. She's a sucker for a bit for designer in her wardrobe :)

Have a look on buy a gift (go through quidco for cash back) we've just got my dss 15 yo whis got everything in the world already a driving lesson in a Ferrari or Audi r8 etc.

They do make overs and photo shoots, recording days, flying lessons, off roading, horse riding, spa breaks. Etc etc. all different values.

If quidco is less than 10% pm me, I have a code for 10% off as just bought driving gift. :)

Sound lovely rabbits - a mum'n'daughter trip.

When my DD is older (she's 11) I fancy a city break and some spa treatments.
Imagine how Blush she'll be at me in my dressing gown Grin

Just be prepared for all the bags you'll have to carry.

Love the sound of that 70sisaLimit. Sadly, my dd is not girly at all and wouldn't go for the spa thing. I proposed it for her 13th birthday party and you'd have think I'd suggested slaying a few virgins and goats for a black magic ceremony. Hope you have a lovely birthday Queenofall.
