14 already!

If lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hope this works a bit better and please give me feedback Grin Thanks

ok lets all hold our hands in the air and repeat after me.

We will choose to ignore the poster who is spoiling this thread
We will not respond
We will not care
We will from this time forth hunt for bargains and post them no matter where they are from.
We will share the bargains and the love
We will not leave as "it' has then won
We will now let it go and breath
xx

Hi all,

Many thanks to all of you who have reported this thread to us.

We're really sorry to see that this thread has caused huge upset for a lot of people. It is definitely not in the spirit of Mumsnet or Christmas.

Can we just remind you all of the talk guidelines. Being deliberately inflammatory, making personal attacks or just generally making people's lives harder is not on.

We have deleted everything we feel is beyond the pale, and hope that the thread can now be restored to its former glory.

It's not about another poster winning or losing but I cannot in all honesty enjoy this thread knowing they are here under a name change absolving themselves of all wrong doing without so much as an a apology or anything.

If isaac returns then so will I.

DreamlessSleep · 17/10/2013 11:31

I dont think so, you can hide sections but not people as far as im aware.

AllThatGlistens · 17/10/2013 11:31

Let's just not feed any attention seekers ladies! Back to bargain hunting Cake

I don't want to hide her, I want to bloody block her!

CatAmongThePigeons · 17/10/2013 11:32

FairyJen that is understandable but Sad for losing the good 'uns.

SpookyPumpkins · 17/10/2013 11:34

I'm not going, I'm too bloody addicted! I will, unfortunately, be very suspicious of nn that I don't recognize. Sad

BeaLola · 17/10/2013 11:34

Cat ATP he likes the Superheroes eg Batman, Spiderman and Superman. Likes his bike and scooter and tablet. He isn't into making things or sitting still for long unless watching TV ! I think the thing is people keep asking me what to buy for him and I have no idea plus of course
I'm politely not asking their budget as I would feel rude.

So far I have bought him pajamas, books, posh socks and that is it. Thinking of a skateboard , pondering table football thing, and ...... My dh says he will give it some thought ! Plus his birthday is just after Christmas so everyone is asking me for both !

SpookyPumpkins · 17/10/2013 11:37

BeaLola- my Ds is 7 in February, so similar age. He is having the imaginext sets (batman, superman etc) he did want them last yr but chose lego instead! Just an idea if you don't already have it Smile

supermariossister · 17/10/2013 11:37

we have the imaginext batcave, jail and mr freeze playsets here they are quite popular and have been added to since last year christmas

Brockle · 17/10/2013 11:37

I wish I had read the thread last year. my kids are having a much better Christmas because of the fantastic posts on here and its got me more excited. I only use this page for bargain. hunting. don't go ladies!

oh and by the way putting Smile. after passive agressive posts doesn't make them less offensive Smile

SunshineAndPeardrops · 17/10/2013 11:38

It's a shame this thread has taken a turn for the worst.

"Let's post loads of bargains to flush the badness out." I agree with this completely.

I got the disney dvd offer to work in the end!

SpookyPumpkins · 17/10/2013 11:40

Completely agree scarer, I would have thought MNHQ would be taking steps to make sure Isaac doesn't have to listen to anymore crap off of moonlight!Angry

MooseyMoo · 17/10/2013 11:40

So, this morning I went into 99p store and they had lots of Xmas craft in. I bought a snow globe kit and a glitter globe kit, Xmas stamp set and a colouring tube (with x2 A4 Xmas poster with glitter and crayons).

Managed to finally get £25 iTunes for £20 from Sainsburys.

Collected my Next Xmas duvet for DD (looks lovely). And, I'm sure someone requested someone to sniff their candles, I had a sniff and the nicest was Festive Spice. Wasn't too strong.

Got home to find my asda kitchen, pots and pans and Redoute Xmas duvet had been delivered. It really is a lovely design.
