And that thread title's an order!

Thread 13 now, unlucky for some but hopefully lucky for us.

Keeping things same as last thread - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Second message hasn't been updated with new offers from last thread as you are too chatty for me, will do better next time.

spookyteacakes sorry, I haven't been instore to Matalan, just saw someone else link to this on the christmas duvet set.

DSJamesHathaway · 12/10/2013 16:00

The Range have really nice Christmas table runners from £2 and lovely Christmas decorations from 79p. I got some nice glass birds for 99p each. That was in the shop though, I can't find it on their online store.

SpookyTeacakes · 12/10/2013 16:02

That's ok Smile of anyone knows let me know. Our nearest is probably 45 minutes away so don't want it to be a wasted trip!

dementedma · 12/10/2013 16:05

Not a reduced price but Asda have some great PJ bottoms in just now for teen boys/men. £10 for Simpsons, Sponge Bob, Muppets etc. Funky colours and "cool"

dementedma · 12/10/2013 16:08

Thanks to whoever mentioned the books at The Folio Society. Have seen an exquisite edition of Gerard Manley Hopkins poetry for mum.
All shopping on hold now until payday....

FarOverTheRainbow · 12/10/2013 16:15

Does anyone know of any good deals on subscriptions to baking magazines of bbc good food?

MissElodie · 12/10/2013 16:19

Duplo My 1st Construction site is down to £10 on Amazon. Camelcamel says its at best price and its £14.95 elsewhere.

Thanks for the new thread Reastie Flowers. Isaac hope to see you back here bargain hunting soon Smile

I hadn't realised until now how much I needed wanted a lovely Christmas throw, thanks for the links to the Matalan one.

hippoherostandinghere · 12/10/2013 16:23

Thanks so much for the good food subscription, great deal Grin

SpookyPumpkins · 12/10/2013 16:26

Somebody was asking about the password journal. It's £17.99 now from £24.99 www.hotukdeals.com/deals/girl-tech-password-journal-8-amazon-17-99-was-24-99-1679040?aui=8
Hot deals link*Smile

supermariossister · 12/10/2013 16:26

76.50 not too bad and bringing it slightly more into my price range but not massively so. wish the reviews were better so I didn't feel the need to justify it more

MissElodie · 12/10/2013 16:30

oh sorry the Lego DUPLO my 1st Construction site has already gone up to £18.50! Shock

supermariossister · 12/10/2013 16:33

would I be an arse to ask my grandparents to put their 30 pound they normally spend on a present to it, I would let them have all the glory of giving it to him Christmas day Grin.

snappybadger · 12/10/2013 16:42

MistressIggi - the Playmobil camper is currently £23.97 on Amazon which is the lowest price it seems to go to according to camelcamel: www.amazon.co.uk/Playmobil-4859-Family-Camper/dp/B0032O8OIQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1381592476&sr=8-1&keywords=playmobil+camper+van

Oreocrumbs · 12/10/2013 16:43

I don't think so supermariossister, I'm doing that with my DB. Realised I've bought one too many 'big' presents cos of you lot so he is going to give me some money towards one and he will give it to DD.

Just been to Aldi - they have their Christmas cakes and such in now so had a nice look around those.

They also have their award winning champagne in this and some cheap prosecco/spumates around the £6 mark. I was drinking their moscato dolce the other day £4.89 a bottle and that was loverley .

They all get good reviews if anyone is looking to stock up.

Their malt whiskey is very good too. My SF is very particular about his whiskey and really likes theirs.

NoYeastInMyMuffin · 12/10/2013 16:57

Dementedma, glad you like it! The books are stunning. proper books.

notso · 12/10/2013 17:00

I don't think so either if it's something your DS really wants. Most of my family were happy to contribute money when DS1 had saved up 2/3 of the money to buy the Lego Death Star. I think they were glad that they didn't have to think about what to get him, and I was glad to end the incessant pestering Grin

supermariossister · 12/10/2013 17:04

he wanted it for his birthday and we just couldn't afford it, if he had it off us he wouldn't get much of anything else really. i wouldn't want them to put our names on it or anything and he can open it at their house. actually he would think they were epicGrin deffo worth asking then thanks

frosty21 · 12/10/2013 17:07

I think its a genius idea supermario.

FriskyHenderson · 12/10/2013 17:29

That Matalan throw is tempting but no clue on how big it is and there's only 1 design.

pantshavenames · 12/10/2013 17:45

I have every intention of letting mil know that if she wishes she can buy DD a camper van that I happen to have sourced at a bargainous price, she probably won't ask till late November/early December and she already thinks I'm slightly scary for being organised without knowing I started Christmas shopping in august. We do this quite regularly, I have been known to surreptitiously hand over the pre wrapped parcel upon by her arrival. I don't think the average grandparent would mind if it meant grandchildren got something they would love.

FairyJen · 12/10/2013 17:48

no requests I promise just here to mark my place Grin

Oreocrumbs · 12/10/2013 17:58

Come and sit next to me Fairy. Have a Brew.

FairyJen · 12/10/2013 18:00

Keep tryin to pm issac but not showing as sent. She may however now think I'm a stalker after so many attempts Blush

Please come back issac I'm really sorry!!!!

ValiumQueen · 12/10/2013 18:01

I buy gifts all the time and use the vouchers they give for something else. I think it is pretty rotten for young children to have vouchers on Christmas morning. Awesome for older children, but not for those too young to understand.

angelabbie · 12/10/2013 18:02

FairyJen you did not do anything wrong and Issac please do not let one persons opinion chase you away. I need someone to find me that Garman runners watch!!
Just got an email that sainsbo have an online sale at the mo.
