And that thread title's an order!

Thread 13 now, unlucky for some but hopefully lucky for us.

Keeping things same as last thread - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Second message hasn't been updated with new offers from last thread as you are too chatty for me, will do better next time.

Good luck to your ds 3birthdaybunnies. Hope it goes ok. :)

mum2jakie · 14/10/2013 22:23

Bop It Smash is half price on Amazon (£10.) We bought it last year for DS aged 10 and it is really good and a fun game to keep everyone occupied over xmas and beyond.

Thanks rosvita, I have plans to go to one for the first time tomorrow. Must make a list to take with me!

IsThatTrue · 14/10/2013 22:37

Just got to pitying my credit card details in on boden website and then closed the window. I should not buy things just for the sake of it. Even if there is a free gift.

It is only a bargain if I actually need it.

Snowgirl1 · 14/10/2013 22:55

FriskyHenderson that Ikea elf does look like a bargain, I'm going to have to plan a trip to Ikea. Anyone else got Ikea Christmas bargain recommendations that I should look out for while I'm there?

Kat3L · 14/10/2013 23:07

Thanks Mooseymoo, another one here who's ordered finger rings, great buy!

Mandy21 · 14/10/2013 23:07

I just put an order in with Boden (set up new account in H's name), used the 15% off code but it didnt say anything about a free scarf???

Mandy21 · 14/10/2013 23:21

Can anyone point me in the direction of the Octonauts book? Thanks

Rugbylovingmum · 15/10/2013 00:00

Hi all,

thanks for all the great bargains so far - I am almost finished all the kiddy presents and have a few of the awkward adults sorted too. Sorry if this is a bit obscure but if anyone see's a dressing up rail - something like this or anything else that would be good for storing DD1's many many princess dresses could you please let me know. This is a good price but ideally I'd like to pay £15 or less - it doesn't need to be pretty, just keep her dresses out of the way. Thanks!

Pumpkintopf · 15/10/2013 00:01

Snowgirl I like the look of these glasses. Unfortunately not available online and I live two hours from the nearest Ikea - not sure I can justify a trip for some Christmas glassware.... Wink

PS I know it doesn't sound very xmassy but I've just managed to get her a Rapunzel and a Snow White dress for xmas on Gumtree (hardly worn - great bargain) and I know they won't squeeze in the toybox which made me think about a rail. Bit random I know, better head off to bed Grin

La Redoute has 25% off and a free fleece coat (don't know what it's like, mind!) with code 8284. Needs to be one full-price item but no minimum spend as far as I can tell.

For anybody going to ikea on a christmas bargain hunt, the last few years they have had really cheap gingerbread houses - about £2-3, sometimes buy 2 and get them even cheaper.

I haven't been into Ikea recently so I don't know if they are doing them this year.

They don't have any icing with them but it's cheap enough to whip up your own or grab some tubes from the supermarket or Home Bargains etc, along with some cheap sweets to decorate. And at the end of it - all significantly cheaper than the £££ that the kits usually cost in the shops!

THey used to do a very nice christmas beer which dh liked but they didn't have it last year. They do do alcoholic and non-alcoholic mulled wine which is good. and other bits and bobs for a traditional scandinavian christmas which can be nice to add a bit of variety to a british christmas!

It might also be worth grabbing a bag of meatballs and sticking it into the freezer - if you need some instant food in the run up to christmas when you are busy wrapping all your bargains they can be microwaved in a couple of minutes. DC like them with rice or pasta and home made tomato sauce (ie a can of tomatoes just simmered with garlic and herbs until it's all mushed together into a sauce) and some broccoli / peas/beans. The whole lot can be whipped up very easily and quickly (especially if I am organised and have pasta and tomato sauce already in the freezer too) without it feeling too much like they are having a quick meal!

Our local ikea apparently has also got a new paper/stationery section which looks nice (at least it does in the pictures on the website) and seems reasonable.

Remember to make sure you have your ikea card with you or pick up one whilst there if you forget/don't have one so you get your free coffee and cheap meal deals - you often need to ask about the meals as they don't advertise them very well - they'll give them if you ask but don't volunteer the info. it used to be that they did different things on different days (free kids meal with adult's meal, free cake with main meal etc) but I don't know what the current offer is. Plus of course the discounts off some purchases!

BillyBanter · 15/10/2013 01:06

I've not been on these threads at all but your title does make me wonder what Christmas themed bun fights there have been on the previous one and slightly wish I had.

JustBecauseICan · 15/10/2013 06:07

3birthdaybunnies-hope your son's op goes OK Smile

We will keep bargainous bargains to a minimum or make sure they last until Wednesday!

Guitargirl · 15/10/2013 06:22

Moosey - I have bought that glass jar for my Mum's birthday which is in 2 weeks. Am hoping it will be delivered in time.

I bought the marble run yesterday for DS - am assuming that it can be built together with the other GALT ones? I was planning on getting another one - probably the smaller one - to add to it to make it bigger. Anyone have more than one set which they build together?

JustBecauseICan · 15/10/2013 06:32

I do like that Cox and Cox jar...but a few of the reviews said it arrived broken or damaged and as I arrive in the same place as my parcels only about the 20th Dec I can't risk it.....I must take the risk with the owl baubles for dd though! Thanks for code!

SpookyPumpkins · 15/10/2013 06:42

Lady - I cancelled with my online banking, I haven't emailed them though! Grin

Trumpton · 15/10/2013 06:47

I ordered the chocolate on special offer from cocoa tasting boutique they look lovely .i must remember to cancel my membership after they arrive .

shelley72 · 15/10/2013 06:55

Boden code for the free scarf didn't work for me DH either..

WhispersOfWickedness · 15/10/2013 07:00

I assume so, guitar, a few of the reviews say that they have done that. I'm not sure if DS is going to like the marble run, so I wanted a smaller one and assumed we could add to it if he liked it Smile

CherryMonster · 15/10/2013 07:10
