We'll if I'd ordered the books from Amazon they would've been almost twice the price and the makeup was half price plus if I get cash back then I'll have saved nearly £100! Yay to everyone on the thread.

DH and I can't agree on savings though, I think if I have a budget of £20 for a Barbie convertable but buy it for £12.50 I make it a better present buy spending the extra on things for that person. DH thinks I just give the bargain Barbie and save the difference. I'm right aren't I??

Hmmm I really don't know notso. I personally would just give the bargain present to relatives / friends / friends children and save the difference. But for my own DC and nieces & nephews, I would spend the saving on more presents for them.
So I think you and your DH are both right!
