And that thread title's an order!

Thread 13 now, unlucky for some but hopefully lucky for us.

Keeping things same as last thread - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Second message hasn't been updated with new offers from last thread as you are too chatty for me, will do better next time.

Oh I was in Malalan earlier and had a quick nose at the Christmas range. The blankets looked lovely. Nice and fleecey with a clear bright pattern. Not blurry like some fleecy blankets. They also had some lovely brown ones with stags on which will be lovely on my new couch. DD was eying up a hot water bottle with a knitted fox cover for around £6.

ValiumQueen · 12/10/2013 21:39

Oops. Just bought a furby. Hopefully.

Thank you LittleMouseThanks

ValiumQueen · 12/10/2013 21:41

I read the description and it is of a furby. It will be pink and hideous, but should be a furby.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 12/10/2013 21:42

Kyrptonite don't worry if it's wrong -although it is clearly described as one. As you said, easy enough to send back. Definitely worth a gamble at that price. Have got dd1 a furby boom so dd2 will be delighted with one and won't care if it's not the newer one.

ValiumQueen · 12/10/2013 21:43

What is so special about a boom?

Pumpkintopf · 12/10/2013 21:44

Ruby lol Grinlove that you're venturing out to scope out products in the real world for us to buy from the comfort of our sofas!

Kyrptonite · 12/10/2013 21:50

Bugger I'm going to have to get DS a furby now too. DD and DSD will have them and he's been bugging me for one since last Christmas. I wish they had them in other colours for that price as I have a feeling now he's at school he will be a bit Hmm about having a pink furby Sad

BuffyFairy · 12/10/2013 21:51

FarOverTheRainbow I bought that 123 zoo set last Xmas when DD was 15m. She's 2 now and loves it. I can't remember if it was £15 or £20 in Tesco sale then.

My Asda order got cancelled too. Oh well, worth a try.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 12/10/2013 21:54

Not much vallum. Different colours, looks slightly different than last years but main difference is a better memory and more app use, the boom can lay virtual eggs etc.
Only got it as she had asked for it and got a really good deal. Last years furby is good enough if you ask me!

professorpoopsnagle · 12/10/2013 21:57

I can recommend this playmobil house as a good pressie, fairly self contained with enough detail.

Littlemousewithcloggson · 12/10/2013 21:58

Kyrptonite would he settle for a furby party rocker as a starter? Been on offer a lot. £4.99 at Sainsburys last month and £9.99 at amazon recently. Think they interact with the big furbys, you can see them in action on YouTube.

Kyrptonite · 12/10/2013 22:02

I looked at a party rocker but I couldn't work out what they did!

blondieminx · 12/10/2013 22:04

Hello all and thanks as always lovely Reastie Thanks

Just popping along to mention that the Aldi fake baileys is in stock again at £6.49 as is their excellent gluhwein (sp?) which was £4.99 I think (grabbed a couple of bottles).

Coveredinweetabix · 12/10/2013 22:04

I think I read earlier on here that the Dunelm Xmas throws were only available in store. I've just been looking online & they're there. Do the DC need Xmas fleeces to snuggle under as well as Xmas bedding... Clearly the answer is no but I am tempted!

FarOverTheRainbow · 12/10/2013 22:09

Thanks Buffy Smile DD will be 14m so might not be ready straight away but good to have in.

The furby booms are interesting ..

Brockle · 12/10/2013 22:13

ok I really hope Ds likes the pink furby. I needed a final present and this will be a total surprise. god I hope he likes it!

FarOverTheRainbow · 12/10/2013 22:14

Can someone link to the cheap furby party rockers that were £9.99 can only find them for 20 odd Smile Tia

Kyrptonite · 12/10/2013 22:14

Feck it. I might just order DS a pink furby anyway. He quite likes pink and so far seems unconcerned about what others might think of him!

MistressIggi · 12/10/2013 22:26

Have been sitting idly adding cheap things to my dotcomgiftshop basket - just passed 50 quid so need to go back and check I really need the stuff! Lovely, unusual stuff though.

iloveholidays · 12/10/2013 22:29

Pumpkin I will have a look at the tray, reckon they'll be plastic.

I've just been looking at tablewear.. First year at home this year so other things to think about :)

Brockle · 12/10/2013 22:30

I think we need a post Christmas review on how the pink furbys are received by the DS's Grin

Littlemousewithcloggson · 12/10/2013 22:30

sorry farovertherainbow I lied! Party rockers were £9.99 at Argos not amazon. Still half price now, all colours.

BirdingWidow · 12/10/2013 22:31

I am glad to see the thread is back to normal, I get a lovely Christmassy feeling reading it.

Lots of people have already bought Stick Man but my tescos had a boxed set of two Julia Donaldson books for £5 - Stick Man and Tabby McTat. Came with some stickers too. I thought that was a very good price for board books, which I prefer to paperbacks as DS (12 mo) is obsessed with turning pages by himself and trashes paperbacks within 5 mins. Would be a lovely gift

whatnameshallibetoday · 12/10/2013 22:35

docotr Seuss set is cheaper in the works, especially with all the discount codes, I had the 20 book set for 12.74 earlier this month

FarOverTheRainbow · 12/10/2013 22:38

Thank you little mouse I've reserved one from argos Thanks

Asda seemed to have a few offers on today in store, I picked up a Disney princess book and mobile for £5 and a pack of 3 Disney books that could talk for £5 too.

They also had busy books for £5 and some fireman Sam stuff and accessory boxes, magic boxes all for £5
