I’m doing things a little differently this time - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hope this works a bit better and please give me feedback Grin Thanks

we’ll need to start renting storage facilities to hide all this stuff the rate we’re going

Guitargirl · 11/10/2013 21:35

I would love to be able to change the bedding to Christmassy duvets overnight but am not sure mine wouldn't wake up.

SpookyPumpkins · 11/10/2013 21:35

I think so, put it on abit!Grin

shash1982 · 11/10/2013 21:35

If anyone's interested, I spoke to one of the managers in Argos and he said the next 3 for 2 on toys deal would be on around about the 26th October & that they wasn't sure if it'd be the last one before Christmas.

HTH!

Usually lurk & enjoy reading the banter! Smile

bymoonlight · 11/10/2013 21:37

I'm not being petty. I pointed out the stupidness of posting shopping lists. I was shot down in flames.

So if you can't beat them, join them.

I also need a boombox which has a socket which you can plug a MP3 player into. I can't let dd1 have an MP3 atm as I think she will leave it lying where dd2 can get her hands on it so I am going to give her blank CDS for now and upgrade her later when dd2 is less destructive!

iloveholidays · 11/10/2013 21:38

That's great to no shash. Hoping amazon drop all their prices by 1/3 again and I'll have a list together for nieces and nephews :)

VeeVandTeaDrinkYourBlood · 11/10/2013 21:38

Mumtoone, I will Smile

Wrt awkward to buy for people, this isna bargain but The Folio Society has gorgeous illustrated books for adults as well as children. Last year I bought my 30yo DB a copy of Animal Farm (his favourite) for xmas and he loves it. They are beautiful.

bymoonlight · 11/10/2013 21:40

I am planning on wrapping the rug and laying it on their bedroom floor so when they stand up on Christmas morning they will stand on wrapping paper which they can rip off to reveal this

6yo DD1 is hopscotch mad at school so will love!

But I haven't run this idea past dh yet!

LaTrucha · 11/10/2013 21:40

Nice jar from Cox and Cox, but also some www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.XGlass+Christmas+Tree+Jar&_nkw=Glass+Christmas+Tree+Jar&_sacat=0&_from=R40 nice cheaper versions here on ebay. I find that ebay often has a nice enough cheap alterntative to Cox and Cox. They even have the same thing sometimes, much cheaper. eg. cox rose garland ebay rose garland. Worth checking if you love something from Cox and Cox.

REPORTED honeydragon. Are you a stalker? Do you need help?

HoneyDragon · 11/10/2013 21:43

Not stalking dear, it only takes two minutes, and it's all there on Mnet already.

IAmSanta there's either 15% or 25% off cath kidston here:

www.gottohaveit.co.uk/categories/shop-by-brand/cath-kidston/cath-kidston-kitchen-accessories

(Not v.good at posting links, sorry! Smile )

Bymoonlight for glowsticks for stockings, you could try a wander around the local poundland.

bymoonlight · 11/10/2013 21:46

Btw, for anyone that's interested I found cheap cd's on Amazon reduced Wink

VeeVandTeaDrinkYourBlood · 11/10/2013 21:46

Why have you reported? She's merely pointing out that the things you have moaned about - picking one person out to do so - you have done yourself.

Get over it. You've said your piece, others don't agree. Don't spit your dummy because you can't get your own way.

trixymalixy · 11/10/2013 21:46

DD would love that hopscotch rug!

Iamsanta · 11/10/2013 21:47

honeydragon that made me laugh so much! You deserve Thanks

TooWetToWoo · 11/10/2013 21:48

HoneyDragon Grin

FairyJen · 11/10/2013 21:49

I love you honeydragon Grin

HoneyDragon · 11/10/2013 21:50

Crossed what line? The line is a dot from where I live.

bymoonlight · 11/10/2013 21:51

Why did you laugh because I did what I said?

I said don't ask for obseure things. Are blanks CDS, a kindle cover and Christmas CDs bizaree things on a xmas thread?

Are they like a mooing xmas biscuit barrel?

I said thanks to Reastie until it was pointed out that it takes up valuable room on a thread and then I stopped. See this thread.

I think some of you need to learn to read posts properly.
