I’m doing things a little differently this time - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hope this works a bit better and please give me feedback Grin Thanks

we’ll need to start renting storage facilities to hide all this stuff the rate we’re going

Did anyone else order the octopus necklace from Amazon? Its the only thing that didn't arrive yet...

Eddas · 10/10/2013 18:40

damn it, I just went back to The Hut, last night they didn't have any blazers in my size and I was secretly pleased that I didn't spend yet more money, why oh why did I re-look. I know have a navy blazer and weekend tote coming!! oops! Having found The Hut on here, I think it's pretty good. The Bench t-shirts and boxers arrived very quickly. Seem to have fab offers

MooseyMoo · 10/10/2013 18:43

angelabbie Wowcher have D&G foundation half price £20. Need to buy in next 3 hours though. 30ml with SPF 15 in 9 different shades

Ziggle home made limoncello is from the poncetastic christmas thread but I got a recipe from the bbc. I haven't made it before - eek! Others are making flavoured brandies too.

Last year I did the dishwasher vodka for sils and bils and I think it went down well! I am also going to try making raspberry gin. Wilko's have kilner jars and bottles which are ideal (and cheap). They make great gifts for those you don't know what to get - some will be going to family friends I have to send something too for appearances sake (without sounding miserly!)

Limoncello seems to be a bargainous home-made gift as you add water to it so it doubles in volume Grin Might lose some alcohol content though....

ziggiestardust · 10/10/2013 18:52

Oooooh, I was going to make cranberry and orange vodka, but limoncello sounds gooooood! Thanks for the recommend to wilco's for the jars, Lakeland are charging a fair bit!

I ordered an octopus necklace from Amazon, AuntieMaggie, although I can't remember whether it was linked here (probably was though). It arrived a couple of days ago.

notso · 10/10/2013 19:20

I made the Limoncello to give a presents last year, but we had a party and drank it all it was so delicious. Might try again this year.

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2013 19:30

Logged into my Asda account and all my ordered have vanished Sad

ziggiestardust · 10/10/2013 19:40

titsalina that's odd! have you tried ringing them? I did click and collect, if that is any different?

Theresomethingaboutdairy · 10/10/2013 19:40

I can't even get onto the Asda website. It just keeps saying that it is closed for maintenance and will re-open at 5.30am Confused

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 19:43

I can't get into my Asda account. No email either yet!

Thanks for the CK link Maranello, though my dh doesn't thank you Wink Grin

Hello

Thanks for the tip about the reduced ipod docking station. Perfect to go with DDs iPod touch.

Badvoc · 10/10/2013 19:49

Trazzles...thanks for the Notre reve tip. Sil sorted :)
I was in home bargains earlier (buying loo rolls :)) and they had lost of angry birds games - millennium falcon bounce, Star Wars Jenga etc

Oreocrumbs · 10/10/2013 19:49

My order for asda is still there and still £3.50.

I was late to the party though, sop if they are working their way through them I will be one of the last to be cancelled I should think.

I wonder if it will take them until after 8 pm tomorrow wishful thinking

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2013 19:50

I'm getting a message in 'my orders' saying I've not placed any in 13 months... I'm quite an ASDA regular Confused

ziggiestardust · 10/10/2013 19:54

Have you put in your card details? If so, ring the bank, they should be able to give you a transaction number and you can ring asda armed with that.

notso · 10/10/2013 19:59

I can't log onto Asda, still not had an email though [optimistic]
Just had an email from EBay there is a sale on new toys 25%-80% off.

AlwaysOneMissing · 10/10/2013 19:59

Anyone who has received their blazer and bag yet - what sort of quality are they?
If you were to compare them to the quality of a high street shop which would it be?!
Some of them don't look a great fit on the models so I'm trying to work out if it is worth getting!

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2013 20:06

I can in,y assume it's their way of cancelling the orders made with the HDUK code, an email would have been nice! They sent me 2 copies of each order confirmation when I placed the orders but not one to say they were deleting them.

grew · 10/10/2013 20:08

Thanks for all these great bargains. Does anyone have any working house of fraser codes?

pettyprudence · 10/10/2013 20:08

ziggies last year home bargains had posh looking wine/bottle gift boxes too for putting the bottles in. This year they have square glass bottles but they are coloured - yellow/purple/blue/red I think - about £2 each

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 10/10/2013 20:24

I don't know how true it is, but someone on my FB has posted that the Asda deal was a scam to obtain credit card details.
