I’m doing things a little differently this time - if lost then see message 2 on the first page for the codes/info collated from previous threads (to save slow loading for those using phones).

Hope this works a bit better and please give me feedback Grin Thanks

we’ll need to start renting storage facilities to hide all this stuff the rate we’re going

SpottyTeacakes · 10/10/2013 14:21

Angel the price isn't guaranteed until the morning of delivery afaik

Oreocrumbs · 10/10/2013 14:22

I think I will just order double next time! Between my parents and I, we have 8 big dogs. I might order their food too next time Grin.

I found it more funny than annoying, I just nodded and smiled an inane grin while NDN was creased up on her doorstep listening. Don't think he will mention it next time!

angelabbie · 10/10/2013 14:30

Ah bum ok thanks Spotty

Oreocrumbs · 10/10/2013 14:31

Thanks Isaac I used the 06 one made an order for £53.50 to be collected tomorrow on my way to work around 8 pm.

If we haven't been tipped off by HUKD before then I shall report back asap!

If it works I'll be very surprised - but I would be kicking myself if I didn't try Grin.

I'm tempted to try for GTA5 for DP now!

mootime · 10/10/2013 14:31

Not as exiting as the adds offer, but DISCOVER14 gives £10 off a £40 spend at SpaceNK!

Mama1980 · 10/10/2013 14:33

My asda delivery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I'll report in Grin
Tbh I will keep the order whether they honour the price or not, it's stuff I would have bought anyway mostly Christmas presents.
According to the hot deals thread they have to cancel or inform you of the price change allowing you to cancel if they are not going to honour the voucher. Which seems fair i guess.

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 14:34

Right, I've just changed all the deliveries to come between 7-9pm on Sunday night so there's plenty of time to cancel if it doesn't work. Feel a little better now.

WaitMonkey · 10/10/2013 14:36

Missed the asda code. Sad Good luck everyone. worth a try..Grin

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 14:42

Actually I might change them all to Saturday.

Sorry for all the posts on this Blush

Just had all the American food and the works parcel paper/christmas stamps/string delivered. The man said "here again" I apologised! Blush He was nice and friendly though

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 14:45

Apparently asda will call people before delivery to see if they want to pay full price or have it cancelled :( Oh well. At least now I've changed the delivery to sunday, I can cancel it if people on HUKD says this is the case.

notso · 10/10/2013 14:45

Been trying to change mine to click and collect but it won't let me. Oh feel like a naughty school girl!

Titsalinabumsquash · 10/10/2013 14:47

I've done the Asda code, it puts the 'gold' voucher in your basket so surely they won't cancel? It's says for 4 uses on it! Oh well we shall see. Smile

Kat3L · 10/10/2013 14:49

Thanks very much Reastie, Isaac and other posters for the continuing top tips and bargains!

I ventured into Waitrose yesterday to pick up some scrummy Green and Blacks chocolates. Thanks very much to the person who posted about that one. They have the packs of 12 mini bars of chocolate on offer for £2.99 - the milk, dark and classic selections are all on offer.

I also checked out Home Bargains and picked up a very cute fleecy Christmas onesie for my DS - green with a reindeer pattern - for £4.99. Thanks again to the person who posted about these.

While I was there I spotted some lovely china mugs with Christmas designs for 79p. I've bought loads to team with coffee shop gift cards for teachers; nice chocs for Brownie leaders and cold hard cash for grown up goddaughters! There's a variety of designs: mini Christmas trees, reindeer, a lovely gingerbread themed one and another that's a bit Emma Bridgewater-esque with a repeating 'Merry Christmas' design.

bymoonlight · 10/10/2013 14:51

Problem with Asda is that they are rubbish at customer service. They are notorious for taking double payments and then not refunding for weeks. Its the reason I won't do an online shop with them.

So if the driver is dispatched with your order at full price and you send it back, it could take a while to get your money back.

Hopefully though it all goes through!

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 14:52

Someone has just said theirs has arrived, all ok Shock Will see what others say.

Sleepstarved · 10/10/2013 14:58

Where were the blazers from again? I ordered one (MN uniform obviously) as sister wanted bag a bag for Christmas.
On our paypal account I have The Hut £17 odd pounds but thought it was from somewhere else and now can't remember.

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 15:00

It was The Hut Sleepstarved here :)

pickofthepops · 10/10/2013 15:01

With click and collect they only charge when you collect. But I imagine they will not bother calling before to ask if I want it full price or not at all in which case I will cancel tonight as too far to go to come away empty handed

Issac don't apologise for all the posts on asda. Even if it doesn't work it's been worth a punt. We are allowed to dream that we could buy Bombay sapphire for £2 Smile

fryingpantoface · 10/10/2013 15:04

Thanks so much for the links!

i got my nieces (10 and 8) the owl necklace and earrings from amazon. My little sister the snitch necklace, and either my mother in law the heart necklace and earrings or they'll be for my grandma.

it all came to £8.25 including delivery. DH will be chuffed i think

Oreocrumbs · 10/10/2013 15:07

Tried to make another order (see easily led - Isaac I'm blaming you Wink ) but can't get a working code. Probably for the best!

I did however notice that Asda have all varieties of terry's chocolate orange for £1, in a more normal bargain fashion. Or you could try and order 51 for £1.

Joycey29 · 10/10/2013 15:08

Isaac - just bought £50 wine for £2.88

  • hope its all ok.....
IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 15:08

Thanks pick :) I get a bit carried away with this thread, I'm obsessed Blush Grin

I've done nothing I was supposed to do today. All I've done is MN, answer the door to deliveries and eaten a chocolate orange! Sorry diet!

IsaacCox · 10/10/2013 15:09

Haha x post there about the chocolate oranges! I'd better not order 50! Grin

Sleepstarved · 10/10/2013 15:17

Thanks Isaac, that's good then.
Need to find debenhams dispatch note now to return the other bag I bought DSis (a more expensive one) Grin

HenriettaPye · 10/10/2013 15:21

Oh crazytink, thanks- I'm looking for the little people castle, will hold off!
