Mine had a garage at similar age which he loved, especially sending cars down a spiral ramp and winding the lift up and down, played with it loads

ShowOfHands · 28/09/2013 16:38

My DS is the same age. They're all very different at that age so it depends what they are interested in. My DS adores Duplo for example. But his most favourite thing in the whole wide world is playing his sister's ukulele while using the leg of his upturned highchair as a microphone. He makes up all sorts of songs. So we've bought him a microphone, a toy guitar and an amp thing. It was £10.99 and he will absolutely adore it. He'd also love love love a scooter but we usually have a £5 present limit and we've already doubled that.

He loves (some of these are at toddlers)....

The lego
Toy garages and cars
Dressing up
Toy iron and ironing board
Puzzles
Ride-on tractor
Play shop
Pretend food

NiceOneCenturion · 28/09/2013 17:43

My ds is the same age and he is getting wooden train track, Tesco online have a good starter version for around £12 and very easy to add to later if he takes to it.

What about happyland stuff? ds has had the rocket for a while and it gets played with nearly every day.

Orchard games and puzzles, Playdough, play food, toy farm, various cars and vehicles are other things he plays with a lot at the moment.

I've been picking them up here and there but it probably won't mean much to you as I'm not in the UK Smile.

MortifiedAdams · 29/09/2013 18:14
