Special festive title for spottyteacakes Grin . Here we go people, the THIRD bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked or are linked but price may since change by the time you click on it - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

House of Frazier have free delivery until Monday. Lots of bargains in the toy and beauty sections.

WaitMonkey · 23/08/2013 17:37

I emailed with regard to changing my gift from a sports bag. I'm not ringing them as, there are several reviews online saying how expensive it is to call them. Haven't had any contact from them but my order pending has now changed from, order and sports bag to order and girls play tray multi colour. Hmm Don't know what that is, but sounds more useful than a bag.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2013 17:42

My pending vertbaudet order doesn't even mention the free gift Hmm

ShadeofViolet · 23/08/2013 18:07

Have looked on the thread but can't see this posted already.

Wowcher

£50 bracelet for £7.00 plus postage. It looks quite pretty and its silver plated so a good present for mums/sisters.

RhondaJean · 23/08/2013 18:12

I did the £15 off £20 without a free gift and the clothes arrived this morning despite already being in the sale, with no fuss, and they are lovely. Worried the jeans may be a little neat for dd but I'm happy with them and the price.

The ruby and ed slippers arrived too, I must say I am disappointed. They came together in a box, no seperate box or bag to put them in (I am sure someone said they had a storage bag with them?), they were a bit out of shape, flimsier than I had hoped for too. I will keep them because entry were less than a tenner each but it's not the good quality pair of slippers I had hoped for for dgmil, and I'm really disappointed they are just loose slippers too. If I had paid £30ish for each of them I would have been furious tbh.

buildingmycorestrength · 23/08/2013 19:18

How are you all storing these gifts? Are you wrapping as Iyou go? Am considering getting a load of metallic gift bags and separating gifts into families so I can get a feel for how ,much I've got....

Littlemousewithcloggson · 23/08/2013 19:19

Sorry if this has been mentioned before - sylvanian families Chocolate Labrador family only £8.23 at amazon (49% off) Other families for under £10 too.

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 19:26

buildingmycorestrength I currently have three large cardboard boxes in our spare room. One for DC1, one for DC2, and the other for everyone else. I've mostly bought stuff for the DCs, and their boxes are full/overflowing. Their stuff will be going up in the loft. The rest will be shoved under a bed.

I am pretty much done Christmas shopping now, for the DCs anyway.

I'm not wrapping as I go, as I suspect I will keep some of it back for next year, or will divert some of it to a birthday present stash, and will want to see what I've stashed away closer to the time.

RhondaJean · 23/08/2013 19:34

I'm developing a floordrobe as I fill the actual wardrobe with gifts Blush

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2013 19:36

Mine's all in a few boxes at the top of the wardrobe. Will wrap it nearer the time (listening to Christmas music and eating mince pies!)

RhondaJean · 23/08/2013 19:41

Actually I might go try to organise my wardrobe a little better this evening...

attheendoftheday · 23/08/2013 19:42

Mine's on top of the wardrobe on a big suspicious looking box. I don't know what I'll do when the dds are big enough to go rummaging. Loft perhaps, but we sometimes get mice.

LaTrucha · 23/08/2013 20:05

loft

JustBecauseICan · 23/08/2013 20:09

I have commandeered a spare wardrobe in my Mum's spare bedroom!

I don't wrap until the week before Christmas as am abroad until then (am in UK now until Sept then back for Christmas) It is my favourite bit, the wrapping (apart from bargainous buying of course!) and I spend all the ££££s I've saved thus far on poncey wrap Grin Although am getting some of those craft shapes for tags which will be cheaper.

My dd has already opened a couple of parcels this week, luckily they were the Works books for my Aunt and the Body Shop and L'occitane stuff for various girl rellies!

I am half way through making a lovely looking photo book for the gramps off dd's year- it's a £15 one which will actually be free with Albelli. (ad on Money Saving Expert photo offers if anyone is interested- they are offering a £15 free gift (ie discount) to new customers.

iloveholidays · 23/08/2013 20:18

Another one with boxes on top of the wardrobe!!!! I look like I'm advertising amazon :) they always seem to send boxes 3 times the size of what's inside so I consolidate :)

Wrapping will be done nearer the time as I lose track of what I've bought for the DCs and may keep some stuff back for birthdays in March/April.

GiddyStars · 23/08/2013 20:24

Spottyteacakes do you have a linky for those journals being £3 on Play? Flowers

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2013 20:26

Giddy I think it was second hand Blush

PoppyWearer · 23/08/2013 20:26

iloveholidays Amazon do send massive boxes but the worst of all for me were the Disney Store. Mahoooooosive box last week....containing....a child's t-shirt. The delivery man was absolutely aghast when I told him what was inside!

GiddyStars · 23/08/2013 20:33

Grin as a rule I lurve second hand but not sure I want to find out all about someone elses Grandads antics! They are all £7.52 on Play though which is still slightly cheaper.

SpottyTeacakes · 23/08/2013 20:36

Apparently it had been read but not written in Grin was probably the one lazza bought for her fil Wink

Penguinbeaver · 23/08/2013 20:45

No bargains to add but I have been stocking up on brown parcel paper from the £ shops and have bought some gingham ribbon (from site mentioned earlier) to wrap them in with probably a bit of holly as a name tag as I tend to spend £££ on wrapping paper etc! Which defeats the object of all these bargains!

Awakeagain · 23/08/2013 20:47

I must get reading, I have not kept up to date with this Christmas thread

joymaker · 23/08/2013 20:49

On top of the wardrobe too and boxes are starting to look like they are about to fall down I have shoved so many packages up there, it's in need of a serious sorting.

RhondaJean Grin at floordrobe

iloveholidays I know what you mean about Amazon they sent me a book only this week in a package 4x it's size Hmm on receiving it from the postman I was temporarily Confused and couldn't remember what I had bought.

Forgot to mention yesterday DK dinosaur sticker books like this were on sale in home bargain for 69p

Can't remember who was looking for hand puppets as opposed to finger ones but when I was in ikea on saturday last they had a really cute owl one for £4. Not a bargain/reduction but worth the money I thought.

Reastie · 23/08/2013 20:52

I've had to resort to putting DDs stuff in the loft as it's too big for inside or on top of the wardrobe Shock and we've just had a huge dining room storage unit put in and alot some of that is christmas gifts at the ready!
