Here we go people, the second bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Elc kitchens do resell well though if that would help. We got the red elc one for £150 years ago and had it for a good 4 years with both dds playing with it and still got £80 on eBay last year and that was in January!

Reastie · 14/08/2013 07:31

snow molton brown code expired the other day :( Those free shower gel codes do come up every couple of months or so so if you can wait there will be another one before christmas.

Rhonda Thanks for that. I'm now debating whether to keep the bath milk for myself or not Blush

ventured off the internet and into the world yesterday, entertainer had some fab offers skylanders Lego sets down from 20 to 6 pound, 25% off doc mcstuffins toys, the monsters Inc scare mask at just over 18 pound , lots of £2 jigsaws. the wreck it Ralph play fists are in the Argos clearance at 14.99 should be 29.99. warning they are huge do not try to smugglle them when child is with you. ds bought them with birthday money and says they are brilliant

RhondaJean · 14/08/2013 07:47

Reastie do what I did - order someone else in the house a sub too and get one for you one for a gift Blush

SuperMariosSister · 14/08/2013 08:01

peacocks sale - not sure if online but in-store girls pyjamas phineas and ferb, underwear, socks, slippers and flat shoes half price or less. boys shoes ( angry birds slip ons and a few others) pyjamas, socks, packs of boxers half price or less

olivo · 14/08/2013 08:05

Sky landers - are these suitable for 5/6 yo boys? I am the owner of girls and every year struggle to buy for these three little boys!

Katnisscupcake · 14/08/2013 08:08

Been lurking on this thread for weeks - it's cost me a fortune!! (But saved me a fortune too...) Nearly all my present shopping is done for child relatives. Still have to think about adults but they tend to be wine, smellies and chocs, a regular thing.

Managed to get DD's first bike at Halfords. They have a lot at half price if anyone is thinking about something like that for Xmas. Also bought loads from Amazon daily deals, some from Hot Deals and quite a lot from Kiddicare.

So thank you for all the tips!! This thread is firmly in my 'watched' list...

Chockywockydoodah · 14/08/2013 08:13

Marking

Kellylesley · 14/08/2013 08:19

Oops that was marking my place, getting Christmassy has made me click happy!

PassTheTwiglets · 14/08/2013 08:35

Olivo, yes Skylanders are very suitable for 5.6 yo boys but you need to make sure that the child in question owns the Skylander game for their Wii/Xbox/whatever or the individual toys will be useless by themselves. You probably know this anyway but thought I ought to mention in case!

olivo · 14/08/2013 08:40

Passage twirlers - no, I didn't know that, thank you. I will see if I can find out. TBh, I have no idea what sky landers are, just that I struggle to buy for these boys and have gone for Lego or play boil for the past few years. The thought of a discount at the entertainer sounded great!

If anyone has any other ideas for these boys, I'd be really grateful. Two are brothers so I have to get different things for catch, as they play with each other's toys. Just realised actually the older will be 7, the other two 5

olivo · 14/08/2013 08:40

Passage twirlers? wtf? I wrote passthetwiglets!!!

SuperMariosSister · 14/08/2013 08:45

you don't need the actual console game to play with the Lego so even if they don't know what skylanders are they will still get the Lego set to play with. the one we bought has 2 figures in and then Lego to build the airship. so still a Lego playset just based on a console game hope this helps Smile

olivo · 14/08/2013 08:49

Ah, ok ,thanks, that's really helpful. I am generally ensconced in a world of barbies and polly pockets so it is nice to hear about by things!!

I will check out the entertainer tomorrow. I would be great to have their presents sorted, they always present a headache!
