Second Christmas bargain 2013 thread already? It's still only July!

Reastie · 30/07/2013 18:33

Here we go people, the second bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Cheers Moosey. Have ordered sleep suits, dribble bibs and fancy dress stuff, and also doubled up my vouchers too. It takes flipping ages to do so, but I effectively got it 1/4 price, or free depending on how you look at it Grin

Does anyone have a Molton Brown code? I was hoping for one of the codes that gives you a full-size handwash free when you buy one.

pantshavenames · 13/08/2013 15:42

I've just used the code molton brown gave me for doing the survey so try it and see if it works more than once- CITRUSSUN.
Does anyone know the best place to get fimo or similar- I'm putting together a craft box for DS?

LaTrucha · 13/08/2013 16:48

Try the Works with the code upthread pantshavenames

98percentchocolate · 13/08/2013 16:52

Welcome to Mumsnet MrsWilliams! Watch out for this lot - they're trouble Wink

pantshavenames · 13/08/2013 18:40

thank you for the ruby and ed link, I got the linen slippers and a pair of boots which seemed to be the few things not only available in a size 3 (I am a size 7 Blush) and yes I am outing myself they were for me (really really need shoes honestly)
And if I'd noticed the molton brown code at the beginning I wouldn't have done the Damn survey (ooh auto capitalise on swearword!)

orderinformation · 13/08/2013 19:00

On phone so can only cut and paste link not make it into an actual link but saw this Peppa book for £1.39 plus free postage on amazon today. Reviews not great but for that price I am not concerned.

RhondaJean · 13/08/2013 19:11

I am so glad some of you found the joules code useful!

We are buying DH a car this week so I really must not buy anything else this month (well except a pair of the slippers from ruby and ed for dgmil. Because they are such a bargain...)

RhondaJean · 13/08/2013 19:17

Is the molton brown code expired? Sad

LaTrucha · 13/08/2013 19:34

Bargains on Austin Reed! Thanks. Never bought from them before. Is it nic quality (I know it's supposed to be)

RhondaJean · 13/08/2013 19:40

Right listen up I have a fantastic offer this time!

Free 400ml bottle of elemis milk bath worth £42 when you take a three month subscription of women's fitness magazine for £1.

You can even get both print and digital mags.

Go to dennismags.co.uk/womensfitness

It's code B1310B for print and digital mags and code B1310P for print only.

Just remember to cancel the direct debit before the three months are up, same as last years glamour one.

JustBecauseICan · 13/08/2013 19:44

Free Elemis?

PoppyWearer · 13/08/2013 19:47

Was in Poundland today and saw Disney Fairies and Ben 10 bubble wands, Angelina Ballerina story books and Bob the Builder/Waybuloo packs of 5 mini books, all £1 each. Added a few of these to my "stockings" box.

Also popped into The Entertainer and about 80% of the stock appeared to be heavily reduced. Loads of jigsaw puzzles and little craft sets etc for £2-£4 each. If I hadn't already bought so much, or had the DCs with me, could have sorted Christmas there and then! Discounts seemed much heavier than their online store.

RhondaJean · 13/08/2013 19:48

Spread the word, it's a brilliant offer! I think you can buy as a present for friends too - I'm just about to see if I can order one in DHs name as well as mines to the same address...

Yama · 13/08/2013 19:58

Rhonda - I can't see where it says free Elemis.

I can see the £1 for 3 issues but nothing about free Elemis (sob).

zipzap · 13/08/2013 20:05

The Book People have got their summer sale on with some good bits in:
link to page with kids stuff on
set of 8 disney princess books for £6
Halloween doodle book £3
Sticker Dollies Back to School - £2
Greek Beasts and Heroes box set pf 12 books £7.50 (ds1 -8- has these and really enjoys them, plus have been handy when he was doing greeks in school!)

and loads more...

Additionally I was in TK Maxx today and they had some nice Mulberry handbags - with about 2/3rds off (so approx £80 instead of £240) - lots of different styles, ones I saw were between approx £60 and £100.

Oreocrumbs · 13/08/2013 20:07

Evening all, I'm sober(er) now! Many thanks for the birthday greetings.

My offering today is a £20 off £100 spend or £10 off a £50 spend instore at argos.

There will be a voucher in this Saturday's Daily telegraph (£2).

Slainte · 13/08/2013 20:08

Rhonda I'm the same as Yama, can't see the Elemis offer and it says that the offer code doesn't work. I'm sobbing too Grin.
