Second Christmas bargain 2013 thread already? It's still only July!

1000 replies

Reastie · 30/07/2013 18:33

Here we go people, the second bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

Thanks for all your help in helping my christmas shopping in 2013 be once again bargainous Grin

Fantastic o you can buy skirts to turn your elf into a girl

98percentchocolate · 11/08/2013 07:22

Mothercare does little surprise happyland figures for £2 - no idea what you get but might be a good stocking filler.

For adults - just noticed that Amazon has "a foreign country" by Charles Cumming for £1.95 new with free delivery. It's getting very good reviews everywhere. Have ordered one for DH.

98percentchocolate · 11/08/2013 07:27

Ooh I can't believe I forgot this - if you order 200 free business cards from vista print then they send you money off offers in their newsletter. There are regular deals for free items where you get the basic free and pay for postage/any extras. You can upload your own designs and slogans to personalise. Last year for about £10 P&p I got a huge amount of gifts including two t-shirts and a couple if personalised mugs. Well worth doing!

LalaDipsey · 11/08/2013 09:54

Oh no Sad Thanks for the warning about the Stompeez. I think the Bee Bop bunny ones are only sold in America anyway as they seem impossible to find anywhere on UK sites. I've tried my local Asda Direct too but no luck.

I still have four months to convince dd to pick something else. And we all know how easy that is. Grin

Asda has the chunky crayola pastels at £1.27 at the moment - about half price. Ideal for little ones.

RudolphLovesoftplay · 11/08/2013 19:18

I live close to an Argos outlet (if anyone wants details please PM as I can't put location on this post). I got some total bargains for Christmas in their toy section today, which was full to bursting because of the catalogue change. There are a few about, and its definitely worth the trip if you find one within 20miles. They have good electricals as well.

As an example: got a bike rrp in the old catalogue £175, I bought it for £60. Happy land Dinoland set thingy, rrp £29.99, I bought for £10. Nerf gun rrp £24.99, I bought for 8.99. Loads of others but you get the picture Smile

RhondaJean · 11/08/2013 21:18

Im looking mostly for monster high and my little pony for dd2, if anyone sees any offers on them, or any general money off for toys r us, would you let me know? Failing that I'll get them in the Argos 3 for 2s.

Also does anyone know when the free shower gel from molton brown code ends?

Thanks

SuperMariosSister · 11/08/2013 21:27

EweHaveGoatToBeKiddin · 11/08/2013 23:28

I've just purchased some Christmasy Yankee candle sets from a seller/shop on Ebay. Seems to be a good price as they have a 'mega sale' on. There's only a few left though.

I bought:

My mugs have arrived from the Emma Bridgewater sale. They were marked as seconds on the website but I can't see anything wrong with them! Really pleased with them for a fiver a piece!

leesmum · 12/08/2013 09:51

Just ordered a load of pyjamas and rucksacks from Character, I know a few of you have ordered from them so hoping for decent quality and quick delivery ....by the way am LOVING this thread Grin

Snowgirl1 · 12/08/2013 10:08

Oreo thanks for the Binxie link - I got a Munchkin turtle shower reduced from £10 to £2.95; hide and squeak eggs reduced to £4.50 (they're currently £8 in Tesco); a safari bath mit for 85p; and a Gruffalo board book for £3.88 - plus 5% off as I bought more than 3 items, plus free delivery. Bargain.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/08/2013 10:32

There was a poster (iloveholidays?) offering to email a link to anyone for £3 off the binxie website. I pmed her and she sent it on to me. Going to get That's Not My.... Books as they're down to £4 and my DD loves them

shelley72 · 12/08/2013 11:17

hope you don't mind me joining you...
Sainsburys have some good offers on at the minute for stocking fillers / party gifts. Orchard toy games and puzzles are a third off and bogof on some crayola felt pen sets.
Also boots had some half price star wars Lego (droid escape?), now down to £10. At least I have made a start on the shopping now!

sameoldIggi · 12/08/2013 12:20

Have reserved a paperjamz guitar (3.99) and some transformer bots (6.99) from Argos, clearance section at local store. Need to collect today without ds seeing!
I got my jumperoo from precious little ones, they do 5% (iirc) off code if you like them on facebook. Also, worth putting one on Amazon wishlist and watching for a drop.
Ds has just announced that the Smurfs2 3ds game he got a couple of days ago with birthday money is "rubbish" Hmm
