Here we go people, the second bargain Christmas thread for 2013 already . Please forgive the fact that so many sale and amazon products aren?t individually linked - so many of them are out of stock and amazon seem to change prices on an almost hourly basis (it feels like) on a number of items that were previously linked to. As usual please tell me if any of these links/codes don?t work or if there?s anything particularly you want to be in the next OP (assuming there is another Wink ) how would I do any shopping without you now

If anyone is near a Smyths toy store to go to in person...

Imaginext (Fisher Price's equivalent to Playmobil) have set up their Imaginext Quest Club - www.questclub.co.uk/

Sign up and then you can get a free goody bag from Smyths with a figure, stickers, member card and several other bits and bobs.

Not massive but if you're going to be going there anyway or could pop into one, then might be worth it if you have boys (figure and club stuff seems to be targeted at boys, castles/dragons/pirates/batman etc). The imaginext stuff itself is good and sturdy, doesn't have as many tiny fiddly bits in as Playmobil, but the figures are slightly more realistic (very slightly!) and the bits of it that we've had (including the adventure fishing boat) have all been incredibly sturdy, more so than lots of the playmobil stuff. (which we still have lots of). But the boat which is over 5 years old now is still played with regularly and looks as good as new, some of our playmobil stuff (safari lodge I'm looking at you) never really stood up even when first put together).

it would be a handy freebie to throw in a stocking or bring out on a rainy day!

Snowgirl1 · 09/08/2013 21:40

Crap, didn't realise the flip tshirts were on offer only for one day. I've just sat down to order some and the price has gone up from £5.99 to £11.99. Grrr...I'm going to have to hope that they go back on offer at sometime.

RhondaJean · 09/08/2013 21:55

If anyone has a two and a half men fan to buy for, the series 1-9 box set is only £24.99 on play.com until midnight...

RudolphLovesoftplay · 09/08/2013 21:57

LifeIsSoDifferent · 10/08/2013 06:49

Thanks for the link 98!Thanks

LifeIsSoDifferent · 10/08/2013 07:29

I've just noticed how many toy adverts are on the Telly!

ilovelamp82 · 10/08/2013 08:01

Hi, loving this thread. I love Christmas so much and I have a little boy due at the beginning of December so I would like to get everything sorted before then so I can enjoy my little boy and Christmas relatively stress free. Got lots of ideas off here, thanks. Does anyone know if there's likely to be another 3 for 2 on toys before Christmas? TIA :)

ilovelamp82 · 10/08/2013 08:02

at Argos that is..

EweHaveGoatToBeKiddin · 10/08/2013 09:03

Yes they normally do one again late September-mid October. Then another a few weeks before Christmas. Best to plan ahead what you're going to buy so you can reserve it ASAP. Last week I spent ages browsing their site when the offer was on, then when it came to reserving, most items were out of stock. Planning ahead also means you can divide your reservations up into similar priced items so you're saving as much money as you can. If you were to reserve all items together, and they vary widely in price, you wont be getting the best deal.

izzybizzybuzzybees · 10/08/2013 09:18

Lots of good deals here. I'm not even sure what I'm looking for now!

Oreocrumbs · 10/08/2013 09:27

Crayola twistables £2 - but this is an add on item so you have to be spending £10 on Amazon to get this.

Oreocrumbs · 10/08/2013 09:36

Jumperoo £88.95

Binxie This website has somw good bargains. The jumperoo above, but a few good small things. I'm ordering the bath mits for stocking fillers - 85p for two and free delivery!

They also have 5% off when you but any 3 items with code X9DF.

ilovelamp82 · 10/08/2013 09:52

Thanks Ewe, that's exactly what happened this time. The things I reserved only came into store yesterday. Rookie mistake. Hoping to be a bit more organised for the next one. Thanks :)

Oreocrumbs · 10/08/2013 09:55

Clintons Melissa and doug sets really cheap. Free delivery if you spend £20 - I've bought a few things to put away for birthday parties.

MercuryRising · 10/08/2013 10:20

Thank you so much for this thread ladies. I have reserved the Barbie California House at Argos - what a bargain! I never usually think about Christmas this early, but I'm returning to full time education in September.Inspired by you lovely ladies I am now aiming to get all the dcs presents by October half term as that will really take the pressure off. Please keep your ideas coming.

LifeIsSoDifferent · 10/08/2013 12:21
