DP is taking DD1&2 out to family for the day so I can sit on the sofa cuddling 5 week old DD3 do a bit of work and start my wrapping. Part of me is excited, part is dreading it!!

Any tips to not get bored after I've wrapped the first present? :)

Juggling our wreath is hanging with ribbon from the door knocker (and the door knocker is blue tacked down).

We have a little nail on the inside of the front door. A ribbon is tied to this and taken over the top of the door. The wreath then is anchored to the front with blu tac.

Think I'll wrap on Saturday morning and then if I have missed anything I can dash out to the shops.

What about the food shopping?
I'm going to start getting bits and pieces from today I think and then on Sunday/Monday I just need to get the veg.

The sellotape dispenser thing has revolutionised my wrapping, no more wrestling with pieces of tape which stick anywhere but where they're supposed to.
The other thing ~I've found useful is to buy specific wrapping paper for each person then if I forget am too pissed to put tags on or they fall off the presents go to the right person.

Fuzz pig, be joyous and merry. There's only 6 sleeps! And everyone starts again in the new year Xmas Smile

Mine are all hidden and waiting. I plan to do them in front of the telly. I have to leave the ones you build til Christmas even though.

Does anyone else take toys out of boxes and plastic wrap and wrap them? I can't bear all the fuss with scissors and struggling to undo bits of dolls from cardboard etc..

I have old Christmas cards I am going to cut up to use as tags.

Just done a load more wrapping tonight. I've come to bed with DD3 to feed and get her settled. DP has gone back out to get more paper. He's got DD1s stocking fillers left to go then we're done apart from 3 we'll do Christmas Eve.

Cannot believe how many rolls of paper we've gone through! Glad it's almost done though.

We've just done everyone that doesn't live in this house!

That just leaves DS's (from us and FC) and DH's to wrap. Not too bad.

Tree is up,
Outside lights are up
Wreath is on door (tied to the knocker)
Cards are hanging
Laundry baskets are acceptable and all clean socks except 3 are in pairs!

We're a Xmas Smile house!

I'm now getting worried I've forgotten some or someone!

Feel like I need to do a stocktake and tick off on my excel spreadsheet :). Sad I know!

Didn't do any today either - got home from work at 8 and went straight to bed Blush on a shorter shift tomorrow though so hopefully I will be more awake!
