What do you have for breakfast on Christmas morning

Cant decide between

bacon, eggs, sausages, leftover ham if we have that christmas eve, black pudding, grilled cherry plum tomatoes

Or scrambled egg and smoked salmon

Or omelettes.

Have heard of people having duck and quail eggs. Do you have them fried, poached or scrambled?

Pancakes with lemon and sugar. The dds will 'graze' on their selection boxes for the rest of the day until we eat at about 5pm. Lovely!

I thought everyone just ate chocolate, don't they?

Croissants, Pain au chocolate and fresh baked rolls (well I cheat and get the part baked ones) for those that dont like the other choices.

I used to do a big fruit salad but it actually took ages (though I know you could do it the night before) and DS used to moan about it so I dont bother now. Also fresh coffee jucies etc

Big pile of hot buttered toast with marmalade or marmite.

Eggs benedict is a fab idea. I might steal that for boxing day!

Although, I've never poached an egg before so may have to practice before attempting it hungover on boxing day

Pancakes with ice cream for the kids, champagne and bacon butties for the adults.

My daughters would love ice cream for breakfast! Was considering it after reading your post but worried excitement + ic cream + stocking chocolate may result in a horrible mess I have to clean up

We don't have a xmas breakfast but on Eid I have veggie omelette made with two free range eggs and loads of veggies. Kids have homemade pancakes with honey and blueberries and/or pancakes with nutella!

Hotel. Bacon and eggs etc. Then we ski (after church).
(Best snow here for years by the way. Father Christmas will have no trouble with the sleigh.)

We will be having pancakes, might chuck some blueberries in them going to DHs friends for dinner, yay to no cooking for me!!!

Regarding what time, it's about 9am. Christmas dinner will be 2-3 ish so plenty of time in between for the dishwasher to have been put on and emptied to make room for the dinner

Christmas dinner in this house is lunch time between 12 and 1! Breakfast for the kids is served on a tray to be picked at while opening presents and is always croissants, pain au chocolate and sliced pineapple, banana,melon and mandarins. Once lunch has been eaten the kids tend to eat whatever they want!

Pancakes with Greek yogurt and berries or chocolate sauce for the DCs. Lots of coffee and Buck's Fizz which then blends into Bellini cocktails and smoked salmon canapés at 12, and more fizz for lunch at 1.

Just boring old smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, warm bread and bubbly....but oh, its so goooooood

For me, croissants marmalade and lots and lots of tea.

The dc will have cocoa pops; as tradition dictates.

dh will probably have weetabix.

I have warmed up sausage rolls, a satsuma and a cup of coffee... it dates back to when my mum used to make sausage rolls and mince pies on Christmas Eve and would bring me up the endy bits on Christmas morning. And they must be eaten in bed :)

Brioche and Bucks Fizz

I will have my usual cereal. DH makes ackee and saltfish with fried dumplings for him and the DCs. Bloody expensive

Nothing, but I never eat breakfast anyway! Cereal, toast, croissants for those that do want breakfast.

Were having a full score big fat English breakfast with a bottle of Moet!

A buffet later on, no big nasty Xmas dinner this year!

It's a miracle if we get to have a breakfast, we're all so busy! I have to yell stop and force them all to the table!!! (about midday!)

Bagels with nutella or cheesy crumpets, orange juice and fresh coffee.
