SnowMuch's annual advent calendar thread - what did you get in yours today?

Ds and I are having our annual advent calendar competition where we have guessed what is in all the windows. One point for something you guessed but on the wrong day, two points for the right thing on the right day.

Today I had a decoration (1 point), ds also had a decoration (no points, as he didn't guess decoration for any day). He also has the Playmobil Knights tournament advent calendar and had a king person in it! Smile

Yesterday I had presents and a sleigh (1 point) and ds had a candy cane (2 points). Today I had a tree (no points) and ds had yet another decoration (also no points).

In the Playmo calendar we had a shield yesterday and a jug and two goblets today.

snowmuch - I managed to get the weapons holder together - thank you!
We also (obviously) got the 2nd knight today, which The Boy has been desperate for since 1st December. Now he's not interested in the knight as he wants the shiny armour... sigh
I also have the Imaginext calendar, which I can't believe had an RRP of £34 ish (I got it in the Smyth's sale for £7.99) - and it's nowhere near as good as the Playmo one. They seem to be saving the best bit (motorbike) til last, which doesn't really make sense to me as the very next day we'll be awash with gifts.

My Mr men calendar was empty today, I think it was supposed to be magnets, so I'll wait to the end and look to see if they have slipped down.

We had a double day today as we forgot yesterday due to all oversleeping and only having half an hour to get everyone out of the house! So a lego woman and something else I had tuned ds1's chatter out as I was trying to wake up then a teddy and an elf.

Xmas Shock at empty MrMen calendar! I hope the magnets appear later. Am pleased you got your weapons holder together, Penfold - my ds was quite pleased with the knight.

Teddy bears are always nice in an advent calendar I think. Am a bit Xmas Hmm at your veg Goo. Although one year I had an advent calendar which contained an unusually large number of birds....

We got an elf today. Left ds2 playing with it abd c asd b aback in to find he'd set the scene up so the elf was pointing a flute at Santa... Had to explain the difference ee between a flute and a gun and that the elf would probably lose his job for shooting Santa

Merry Christmas Xmas Hmm

Ds had some holly today (1 point) and I had a snowman (1 point). In the Playmo calendar we had a shield and flag for the first knight. The second knight is a bit pissed off that the first knight has armour and weapons and a shield and flag and a horse, while he has nothing! Xmas Shock The kingy person has had to cheer him up by giving him a goblet of wine... Xmas Wink

The Polly Pocket calender is still impressing me. It's clearly aimed at girls, but so far, only one of the doll's outfits have been pink. The rest are red, green and white.

The Lego Friends calender isn't very exciting - a pink and turquoise chair seat for the dog (the one with the bow in its hair).

Ds was very pleased with the pirate playmobil figure he found in his calender pocket this morning. It's one that glows in the dark Xmas Smile

SnowMuch, me and The Boy are also a bit Xmas Hmm at the lack of the 2nd knight's armour, specially as it is going to be super-duper shiny. The Boy opened the calendar, looked at the bag, said "I wanted the armour", threw the bag aside and said "Can I open yours Mummy" (not spoiled, honest!)
I asked The Boy what the King had in his goblet and he said without hesitation "Wine". He is 3. Xmas Blush

Hoorah for the shiny armour. Just had to then find the knight, who the cats had helpfully pushed under the sofa. Armour topped off with lovely red feather today. Another walkie talkie in the imaginext calendar (yawn)

SnowMuchToBits · 16/12/2012 19:37

We had the red feather too! And otherwise I had gingerbread house (no points) and ds had a heart-shaped decoration (no points).

I am feeling like bah humbug Xmas Angry today. Both advent calenders had a 'handbag' - that's fine for 7 euro Polly calender- but that's not what you would expect from a 24 euro Lego calender.

I had another tree (no points) and ds had a snowman decoration (1 point). In the Playmo one we had some horsy armour. Xmas Smile
