If so, let me know and we can arrange something.Smile

I think there's a whole range of ages Jazz, don't be put off Smile The more the merrier I think...

AbigailAdams · 04/12/2012 11:21

Happy Birthday Jazz! If it helps reassure you, I'll keep my boxing gloves at home? Wink

You may find you need a break after moving house. I will only be having a glass or too (bfing here) so don't worry about that!

exexpat · 04/12/2012 11:41

Happy birthday! Yes, I think we'll be all ages (I'm twice your age ancient, but I know not everybody is) so I wouldn't worry about that. Being knackered might be more of an issue. I think MrsW needs final numbers soon - maybe check with her?

Oh, and blondiefacedoll I think we went for the cheapest menu option in the end, so it's £12.95, of which £5 goes to MrsWembley as she's already paid the deposit, and the rest you pay to the Watershed. Plus whatever you want to spend on drinks.

See everyone on Saturday. I have threatened promised to bring Christmas crackers.

MrsHoarder · 04/12/2012 13:57

I'm not much older than you jazz. And can't have much to drink as have to bf when I get home. So don't worry about being the odd one out.

MrsWembley · 04/12/2012 21:12

Jazz Absolutely, there's room for you. I deliberately booked a couple of extra places for late comers.Smile

I am soooo looking forward to the weekend...

blondiedollface · 04/12/2012 21:28

Exexpat cheers good to know numbers so can bring enough --to get merry-

Jazz I am only 23, so you will in no way be the odd one out! This time last year I was 22, pregnant and searching desperately for a house - so you will be in good company :)

InNeedOfBrandyButter · 04/12/2012 22:08

I want to come and I'm 24, I will have to check a baby sitter first before I confirm but I really really want to come!

MeerkatMerkin · 04/12/2012 22:18

Can I make myself a bit involved in this? I tend to lurk mostly on here but would love to attend a Christmas do and meet some local Mumsnetters - was just wishing I could go to one (SAHM) the other day and feeling jealous of DH's, then I stumble upon this...

Where do I sign up?

MrsWembley · 05/12/2012 11:04

Meercat Great that you managed to summon the courage to post! We'd all love you to join us.Smile

Brandy Loving your Christmas name - reminds me I really need to think of one...

Oh, and for those still concerned about dress code (bookworm, I'm looking at you hereWink), I will be wearing a dress because I wear jeans and a t-shirt/jumper all week.

But, if you wear a suit/smart stuff all week, you might prefer to put jeans and a top on.

And if anyone wants to come in fancy dress, that's allowed too...

MeerkatMerkin · 05/12/2012 15:24

Oh great, I'm excited! Although less so at formally having to introduce myself as "Merkin". Grin Will there be official nametags of should I sticker myself up before I get there? so as not to have to introduce self as Merkin

I am truly excited for festivity and squiffyness, although I hope I don't have to namechange afterwards because I'm the one who was sick on herself a student. Wink

So it's the Watershed, Saturday night from 7.30, £12.95 including the fiver to be slipped to you MrsW, and money for booze?

MeerkatMerkin · 05/12/2012 15:25

*OR

LocEdBristol · 05/12/2012 15:57

Ah ha....here you all are!
I have been so busy over on Local(trying to figure it out and make it good!) that I've somehow managed to completely miss this! Blush
So sad, I would have loved to try and tag along but DD is turning 1 on Sat so having a little party to celebrate the fact that I am still standing..just
But just to say hope you all have a fab evening, sounds lovely,
and it would be great if we could organise something in the new year?

P.s I'm wondering how to entice you back to Local Xmas Wink ?

shouldIbecrossaboutthis · 05/12/2012 18:55

am I too late? I'm a new mum & have no mum friends in Bristol really so wouldbe lovely to meet you all!

MrsWembley · 06/12/2012 11:29

Oh wow, all coming thick and fast now! I need to update my list quickly.Grin

I'll post something like a list later to make sure I've got everybody but, in the meantime, I might send out a couple of PMs to those who haven't confirmed absolutely.

I can't come, its the dc school disco that day Sad

QueenofWhatever · 06/12/2012 14:06

I'm still coming!

MsIngaFewmarbles · 07/12/2012 07:23

I'm sorry I now can't come. I have a funeral to go to next week which is going to cost a lot for fuel so I can't justify coming tomorrow as well :(

QuietNinjaChristmasSpecial · 07/12/2012 15:21

I have only just found this thread again! I lost it and I have other plans now I'm afraid. Really annoyed as would love a mumsnet meet up. Is there any way we can do a New Years meet up sometime too?
