I don't like turkey.

Do they do a nice, good quality chicken which actually tastes of something and is worth buying?

localcrackpot · 04/09/2012 22:55

Is the duck in there??

Shinyshoes1 · 04/09/2012 22:56

They do 4 individual poussins for £15.00 which looks as though it has bacon on the top of it from the picture.
viva
Can't see any actual chickens though

I've not tried them though as I don't think they were in last years catalogue

I buy a medium sized chicken instore for about £7.00 ish and it tastes mighty fine to me

Oh yes! We were M&S Christmas dinner virgins last year. It was possibly the best bit of Christmas for dh and Blush because neither if us had to 'cook' and we spent the entire day playing with the kids Grin

Why isn't there an excited smiley?

BiscuitNibbler · 04/09/2012 23:08

Are they doing the Christmas pudding cheesecake this year? I've almost ordered it for the last two years but haven't. If it is there this year it will be mine! I can't resist it any longer!

Shinyshoes1 · 04/09/2012 23:09

Oh Olympia but it IS the M&S christmas food ordering catalogue that does need a small mortgage to order EVERYTHING

You know you'll be down your local M&S getting one yourself Wink

Christmas Officially Starts when the Lakeland Limited catalogue wafts through my letterbox.
Online is OK but the feel of those pages.Wink
I thumb through them, a pen in my grubby hand...marking things off.

Mmmmmmmmmm.

Housewifefromheaven · 04/09/2012 23:15

Me too!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/09/2012 23:20

Shiney was offerings are they concocting for vegetarians?

(You might as well properly spill the beans after "the young lad" risks his neck to give you the catalogue. Shame if he got smacked with a rolled up copy of The Home Furnishing Brochure for no reason) Wink

The olive wood Nativity scene which I am never going to pay £99 for but I pretend every year that I'm thinking about it...

BiscuitNibbler · 04/09/2012 23:28

Shinyshoes - I'm gutted with the lack of Christmas Pudding Cheesecake. I've been thinking about it since last Christmas. I may have to buy shares so I can go to the AGM and complain!

GML - I do that every year too. I even look at it in the shop and hold the box! It normally goes up in price every year too.
