DH bought me a new mini stereo for my kitchen (one with an ipod dock) and also a kitchenaid blender (think he's hoping I'll make more soup!).

DM and DMIL bought me lots of yarn to make a blanket.

Adoption of a zoo animal, which also equals a short holiday as the zoo is hundreds of miles away. It would have been too simple for DH to pick something from a nearby zoo.

Lovely things this year including a Seal CD, lots of chocs, slippers, socks, an ice scraper, some spices and a holiday on Lundy Island (getting to the island by helicopter )

Well, this was supposed to be skint Christmas but still I got lots of gifts:

A lovely Uniqlo stripy hoody from DS and he also made me a bobble -very happy with that one!
Lots of thights etc plus a top and a pullover from MIL (who already got us a lovely JL duvet a month before as an early Xmas gift)

Oh, and MIL gave us a huge bag full of goodies (Bendicks mints, nice tea, golden syrup etc- all the things that we love and that are very expensive to get in France).
