Booze, obviously.

I had such a hard time with my egomaniacal MIL last year, and this year is shaping up the same. I think she really dislikes me, either that or she's unhealthily in love with her other son.

I need a mantra Grin

Rosie, that sounds like a fabulous idea !

I like the idea of family bingo. I will go for:

Bil making a racist joke that is inappropriate and disgusting.
BILs and DH competing as to who is currently most popular with their parents.
MIL referring to DS as 'my baby.'
When leaving at 7pm with my overexcited exhausted two year old MIL saying 'why are you taking our grandson away from us?' as she has done for the last two years.
FIL sharing the intimate details of his medical complaints. Over Christmas lunch.

I'm not sure why I look forward to Christmas really! I'm always glad when it is over!
