Please help! DS has his heart set on an Imaginext Mega T Rex, and they are out of stock everywhere!

I have been trawling the internet all morning and can't find one anywhere. I thought I had cracked it with Amazon until I saw the expected delivery date was between now and Feb 2012.

DS has his heart set on one and is sure he will be getting it as he has put it at the top of his Christmas list to Father Christmas. Does anyone know anywhere that has them in stock or if they will be being restocked soon? It is all DS is talking about and I really don't want to disappoint him

Is a remote controll one? If so have you tried symths toy superstore, I'm sure sil has ordered one from there this weekend.

Have you tried Toys R Us? They are out of stock for home delivery but it seems some stores have it available for you to reserve and collect - however, I have just checked and the nearest one to me is about 200 miles away Grin But it would depend on where you live.

That is a shame because it does look good - DS1 has had his eye on it but I got caught out with the Imaginext Toy Story thing which he wanted and then never played with Hmm

I tried Smyths, it is not the remote control one no. The one he wants is out of stock for home delivery and at all the nearby stores.

Toys R Us also no good. The nearest store with any in stock is 86 miles away. I am not yet that desperate, however watch this space Grin

Thanks Forties, i have looked at Ebay too and the prices are a bit silly. I am hoping everyone is expecting a large delivery of stock in the next couple of days!

Just checked and they've reduced by £10 on Argos website, but out of stock at our local shops so that might not be a good sign. Worth checking you local branches though.

Thanks silver, have checked Argos and it is showing as out of stock at teh 10 nearest branchs. Think I'll widen my search but not holding my breath

Smyths have one in stock in Belfast. My dad lives there so may well have to rope him in to do a dash to the toy store. I just wish i knew if anywhere will be getting in more stock before Christmas

They've got some in my local toy store, so if you've got any independent toy shops near you then they may be worth a look!

I thinkI saw one in a independent toy shop when we were on holiday in Devon. Don't suppose you're anywhere near Honiton? If not, it might be worth calling them to see if they have one they might send it? here

Thanks everyone, I never thought to try the independent toy stores. I am in the North West - willing to travel within reason!

Don't know where you are in the North West but I saw a few of them yesterday in the toy shop part of Housing Units of Hollinwood in Oldham. The website is here but I couldn't see it on the website.

I think it is out of stock at Argos (tried stores around Oxford/Swindon/Derby/NE) as it was reduced, and Boots have the 3 for 2 offer. I got it at ToysRus as I too slightly panicked it may be out of stock. Picked it up Saturday and I had a choice of three local stores that had it

Thanks oldraver, I have just tried Boots, Argos and Toys R Us again in case they had had more stock delivered but they are all still showing as out of stock

ok no stock, BUT last year my toys r us (stockport) was great at keep getting stock in for click and collect, just check all the tiime!
