Great thread - we need a girls one too.

MonsterBookOfHorrors · 21/10/2011 19:45

Ds will also be 3.6 years at christmas.
I have got him
a lindt chocolate santa
A mouse soft toy
A pack of chocolate that spells his name out
An Enid Blyton book with various stories for me to read to him.
Then I will put an apple in it.
It has filled up the average sized stocking that I got him.

talkingnonsense · 21/10/2011 19:59

How do you get an annual in a stocking?! But we always have one under the tree.

LordOfTheFlies · 21/10/2011 20:02

scotgirl it's the stockings that are the most difficult IMO. I want to get nice little gifts, not a pile of plastic crap, and not spend alot of money.
Can't get everything from one shop or one trip. And the kind of shops I go to are not the ones I want to be queuing in with a load of Christmas bags.
Buy them when I see them.

How many days left?

scotgirl · 21/10/2011 20:05

OKAY - I'm going back to burying my head in the sand now![hgrin]

JarethTheGoblinKing · 21/10/2011 20:05

Brilliant ideas here.

Toys r us have single playmobil figures for £2 so a couple of those.

LordOfTheFlies · 21/10/2011 20:05

talkingnonsense I don't have stockings, I have gift bags (QVC Lindy Bowman) that have little sparkling lights in them.
Plenty of room for annuals and the like Grin

lilolilmanchester · 21/10/2011 20:11

most of the things I was going to say have been mentioned, but also comic; stickers; skipping rope; character cake/biscuit kit; Christmas decoration for the tree ... and look round the pound shops every time you pass them, rich source of stocking fillers and not necessarily tat.

OvOntToSuckYourBlood · 21/10/2011 20:13

Disposable camera.

The photos will be terrible but funny and great to keep. Grin
