I keep all the boxes my mail ordered Christmas presents arrive in for just this purpose, there's always some bonkers shaped thing to wrap. This year a giant Mickey Mouse wins the prize for my worst thing to wrap.

a doll's bunk bed that a) is too wide for the rolls of paper and b) has no surfaces that you can use to press down on the paper.

That and any of those toys in half boxes where you have some squared off bits and then just a flat piece of cardboard with the toy sticking out in front.... I hate those.

I had to wrap a cylindrical box with a diamater of about 30cm this year and it was surprisingly hard.

Nutella.... That cats is so cute, I might have to try doing that with either of ours next time they interfere with my wrapping!

A breast. I kid you not. I wrapped presents for my friend who is wrapping challenged and one of her husbands stocking fillers was a breast shaped stress ball. Worst thing I have ever wrapped.

i have made the mistake this evening of wrapping all the calendars/boxes of lego/easy ones etc while downing a couple of glasses of wine - now I have the stig bathfoam and the other tricky ones to do and am a bit pished

The funniest thing about the breast is that it was one of a pair (obviously) in a box that would have been easy to wrap. But she decided to give him only the one.

oh me and dh have just wrapped dcs things 2 bottles of beer down - a right shower of shite to look at but hey the kids wont mind - buzz was difficult as in an odd shaped box and he kept shouting at dh from inside in spanish as he hit his buttons in error - made for mild entertainment. Guitar yes ii agree tricky - i am sooooooooooooooo excitednow
