my parents once struggled with a swing. they decided to cover up the paper, but accidentally covered the instructions for how to construct it, and left showing the BIG heading saying 'Garden Swing'

They managed to be fairly inventive with both a hamster and a bike.

WrappedandTagged · 23/12/2010 04:00

Any toy that is in a box with the front cut out so you can see/ touch the toy.

Nightmare- the paper is always either too baggy or too tight and then rips.

SummerRain · 23/12/2010 11:21

box with front cut out.... that's a much better way of describing it than my ramblings! Blush

southeastastra · 23/12/2010 11:23

where did you buy the massive stuffed totoro pureasdrivensnow?

maize · 23/12/2010 11:29

I wrapped a Mr Potato Head bubble bath this year - that was a challenge.

I found wrapping a frying pan very easy but I can see how a Wok would add a whole new challenging dimension to that!

TheYuleLogLady · 23/12/2010 11:37

bloody K-nex boxes are all triangular and stuid.

large glittery bouncy balls are ver hard..

2 years ago I wrapped the dog (sausage) (in the car) then presented him to DD1. That was quite somthing Xmas Grin

southeastastra - Sorry, but I got it at the Ghibli Museum in Japan :)

Hang on, there's a site somewhere that sells a lot of Ghibli - will attempt to find for you

LOADS of Totoro goodies here: www.jbox.com/search/all/totoro

I've ordered from this site before, it takes a while for the stuff to get here but they are reliable.

Hardest thing to wrap this year is a giant bean bag.

MrsCratchit · 23/12/2010 18:21

blackeyedsusan · 24/12/2010 10:27

Sorry , I had images of someone trying to stick wrapping paper over their own boobs either for a small baby to unwrap. ( my toddler would love that) or for a dh/ dp who has been banned after an extended period of breast feeding. Xmas Grin
