Is there a thread to show off our Christmas trees yet?

Yes I would love to show mine of too! Ive never put pics on profile I will have a look at how to do it

I'll do mine in a minute. My parents gave us all the very old decorations that they have had since they were married 40 years ago! So all mix and match plus DS aged 3 "helped"

It's real though and growing - smells gorgeous!

Have just done mine. It was looking better but dd2 pulled it over earlier and it needs rearranging. I also had help.

It's also mismatched but I love it, It has decorations on it that were on trees when I was a child and stuff that my dc's have made so although it's not very posh I would'nt have it any other way iyswim.

We have two trees this year I'll have to upload a pictures of the other one tomorrow

it's lovely.

we're not putting ours up till the weekend (although when exactly we'll have time to do that, I don't know cos we've got 9 lessons and carols on Sunday in addition to the normal service, and we both work Saturday)

I know I'm trying to supress rearranging urges. I think I'm going to have to redo it tonight. I'm sure dc's won't notice...

I will take a pic once I find the missing decorations. It's looking a tad under-dressed at the moment

My tree is on my profile. 8y DD decorated it after I had put the lights on. Mainly pink and silver baubles this year, as chosen by DD :)

YuleTide - I like mismatched. Ours, as well as the coloured one DD chose, also has the odd special decoartion on too - normally DD getsto chose one special one each year, plus we have coloured candy canes and some homemade decoarations by DD as well. Mismatched reminds me of childhood Christmas, in a way proper colour schemed ones never do.

It's lovely. Maybe I should have done the same and let dc's decorate it but not put the lights on .

Yes I like mismatched too, they seem more real iyswim. My friend has a tree so tastefully decorated it makes my eyes bleed

Do they have to be real trees or can we post pictures of artifical ones?

Artifical is fine, but be prepared to lose 5 points off of the total score

Ok should be on there now. Mine's boring black, white and silver this year because colourful ones are soooooooooo last season (according to DD)
