As a music teacher I LUUUUURRRRVE every Christmas song pretty much. But... my favourite is Have yourself a Merry Little Christams - particularly when you hear it at the end of "Meet Me in St Louis". Welling up just thinking about it ......

Well now dolce - at the risk of sounding smutty - we did this with my school choir last year and the "faaaaall on your kneeeees" moment gets me every time! Welling up again!

Zat you Santa Claus by Louis Armstrong. DC adore it. DS(7) does a great impression of it.

I was Christmas shopping the other day & they were playing the song from Nightmare Before Christmas when Jack finds Christmas Land, you know the one that goes, 'what's this?' I love it! I felt like a kid again.

Not a song but absolutely adore Victor Hely-Hutchinson's Carol Symphony - the third movement is best known as the music from 'The Box of Delights' (to those of us of a certain age) and it is just the most spine-tingly Christmas piece, but the rest of it is fab too. I love playing that CD at Christmas.

My favourite carol is It Came Upon the Midnight Clear, but I also get a rush of eighties nostalgia for Wham's Last Christmas.
