Ok, I know its november, but its only 54 days til Christmas and I am so excited. I love everything about christmas, I love the build up, Christingle services, carols, buying and wrapping presents, even writing and posting cards.

Thought a thread to swap tips, plans and generally get excited might be qute nice!

Had to get the advent calender cos the Lego ones go through the roof the closer it gets to Christmas... Mind that doesnt explain why I bought a Playmobile one too... Blush

If anyone is looking for a case for the DS I got this one for 99p plus 99p p&p from the argos outlet on ebay and its fab- DS drops my DS every other day and it still isnt broken Shock! Migth be no good if yours are odler and know about brands, but for us its brilliant and such good value

As Liss, I am of similar inclination to you LOL- except its almost all done now, only crackers, cards and a few vouchers left to get (vouchers at request of recipients I hasten to add!)

It's the second year of DH not working on the day, first eyar ds4 will know what's going on and we will be away. Cannot wait.

Dad always was the same; he was exceptionally poor as a child (would've been put into care these days- if he didn't work at 5 he didn't eat)) and the whole spoiling / feasting ting was a huge deal for him: my sisters are the same now.

QuoththeRaven · 02/11/2010 17:16

I have - drumroll - booked two Ocado slots for 20th and 24th December, and am now finishing the menus!!!! Also ordered the Playmobil Christmas Post Office advent claendar and it comes all assembled and you rip open the doors more like a normal calendar. We sponosr children in another country and our first christmas cards and gifts for them were sent in .... September. LOVE, Love Christmas Grin

SantasMooningArse · 03/11/2010 16:29

We have Waitrose collect slots booked for 21st and 24th; Dh's business is taking off a bit atm and I'm going in as his partner around caring, so we're celebrating by having a nice Christmas.

GOing for a 3 pig roast i think, followed by a Sable for dessert as boys don't like turkey. Yum.

BoobyMcLeaky · 03/11/2010 16:50

Oh yey, found the christmas forum!!

I have bought all my presents and even baked 2 christmas cakes. Can't wait until 1st December so I can put up my tree and wrap my pressies (is that too early?!). It's our 1st christmas with DD and I am soooo over excited!!

Now, to start on DD's christmas stocking...
