Dealing with challenging conversations on Christianity on MN and elsewhere

I am very sure some of you will know exactly what I mean! I have been trying to get into spreading the gospel online (since I don't get out due to being housebound) and am finding it challenging, although every day I learn something new about how to handle situations.

If you have been involved in this in some way, do you have any tips or strategies? I don't want to avoid talking about the gospel or Christ on this site, there are so many people in need of salvation, but it's hard when coming up against quite militant opposing views. I'm aware there may be people reading threads and lurking who never post when Christianity's being discussed so I do think it's important to witness so they can have something to mull over.

I didn't make a comment on the view from the Catholic church by Pope Francis. I thought it was interesting on one of the subjects that had been discussed and had another point of view. Some of this was clear to me what was in the article and some was not, but I didn't want to AI the answer as we can all do that.

Thank you for your reply @Justmerach . Just for confirmation: I have never used AI for any of my responses anywhere on Mumsnet. Nor would I. What I write is my own, nor are my posts the words nor thoughts of others, unless I give a reference to a site that says it all for me.

As an aside, provided AI is merely rephrasing an author's own words, personally, I do not have a problem with that - but would trust the author more if they use a disclaimer.
