I'm in Surrey - my 15 month old had it for 7 days..nonstop vomiting. Not nice at all.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 21:30

Bucks. My daughter was ill for about 3 days.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 21:40

Damn, he was supposto start a cycling proficiency course today (he was off, he woke up at 6am and asked for a drink, went to the loo at 6:30 and had sloshy poop, crawled into my bed at 7 with a headache and started throwing up this afternoon), it's my last week working at the hospital until my easter break starting on Monday and I have work to hand in at Uni tomorrow, even worse, I have no wine!!!

Ooh er! My eldest isn't well at the moment (more conjunctivitis though) and her dad came home from London to Midlands today and gone straight to bed as he's feeling ill - sounds like he could have the bug.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 21:51

I'm in the East Midlands so it could be in the midlands area. Damn!

A bug did the rounds of DD's pre-school a couple of weeks ago: temp, sickness, cough, difficulty breathing at night etc. Most were off for at least a week (and DD started with conjunctivitis before developing the rest) Sorry! (mid Wales by the way).

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 22:42

(fluffy's now on the floor sobbing)

He's just woken up startled and muttering something about chairs and a light. Very odd!

Both mine have had something similar. seems to be about a week incubation period, vomiting and headache for a day, day or two more for energy to pick up...

confuddledDOTcom · 23/03/2010 22:45

Sounds like both Toddler and Daddy have the bug then! I'm trying to convince him not to go in tomorrow with me planning to keep Toddler home.

Right, off to find the pump to make some special eye cream!

Dominique07 · 23/03/2010 22:47

I got it for 1 day, but I'm taking Immunace at the moment. DS age 2 hasn't caught it.

lisad123wantsherquoteinDM · 23/03/2010 22:49

yep there is 2 going around here. DD1 had milder one over weekend but still took 3 days before better. Other nasty one put DD2 into hospital and was illl for a week.

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 22:56

Oh Lisa, is she better now?

yep all on the mend, just that DH isnt allowed to clean up sick, so im stuck doing the sicky jobs
the are fine now, back to schoool and im back at work

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 23:14

That's good.

I've been reading about your DH, I hope it's going well, it must be really stressful for you all.

My DH has it, and my DS has diahorrea, so yes, there's definitely something doing the rounds here. DS had to come home early from nursery and DH has been palely loitering round the house all day. I'm the only fit one

squilly · 23/03/2010 23:50

DH had it last week. I had it yesterday. We both had it just for a day, so wasn't too bad. DD has so far escaped it. She looks like death warmed up half the time, thanks to her thin frame and white pallor, but she's tough as old boots! Thank Gawd!

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 23/03/2010 23:52

Poor lad's been on the sofa all day, he had a couple of pieces of toast then threw up. He did ask for some grapes before he went to bed and (fingers crossed) he's OK as he's not been sick. I hate spring!

I'm glad everyone's little ones/big ones are on the mend

Think its hit here now too (W. Midlands)

I am off today with headache and stomach cramps. DD went into school saying her tummy was hurting, but she wanted to go. Seemed to be ok once she had a number 2! She looked a little pale tho, poor love.

Half expecting a phone call from the school. The teachers said that half her class has it at the mo ... fantastic!!

Hope she escapes it or gets over it by the weekend .. we are supposed to be going away!

Elibean · 24/03/2010 14:33

dd2 just threw up all over me, and is pale and tired on sofa. No temp (yet) though. Its been doing the rounds here (SW London), and usually lasts a day or two, but immunity is short lived and I know a couple of people who've had it twice

I had diarrhoea this morning (sorry) so maybe I'm going to be let off the vomiting part

pinkkoala · 24/03/2010 14:40

any of you in northants area

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 24/03/2010 17:19

He's feeling better today and has not been sick since last night (yay) school tomorrow!! It wouldn't be nice for him if he caught it again

Uni were not understanding about the essay though
