Single mum here and on my own and struggling ☹️
DD7 been just “off” since 22nd when she started with a temp, no other symptoms. quieter than usual over Xmas and since Boxing Day has been really tired, needing to lie down between playing, sore legs, off food and a bit hot with a cough Yesterday she went downhill and hit fevers of 40 and such a terrible cough and congestion. I’ve called Gp who don’t have any appointments so will need to take her to out of hours later, my neighbour has kindly offered to sit with her brother to let me take her but can’t come until 7pm. She gently suggested it’s likely just flu based on the above but I am concerned she’s getting worse not better and is sooo hot.i was thinking it might be a chest infection but I have no idea. I doI have anxiety so find it hard to know what’s right and wrong in times of stress - I have no one else to talk to IRL so wondered what you would all do? Would you take her in or carry on riding in out at home based on likely flu? Thank you x

Home soon for some much needed sleep. This virus is a real hanger on! Just when I think we've turned a corner, she spikes a temp! And she's so lethargic and not doing much beyond lying on the sofa!
