Does anyone know what these could be? There are only like 6 of them on my daughters arms and legs, they don’t seem to be itching or bothering her?

Do you have a picture?

FootSoreandFamcyFree · 27/07/2023 18:22

A picture would help but most likely at this age is molluscum contagiosum.

That’s what it looked like when my son started with chicken pox…

AutisticLegoLover · 27/07/2023 18:26

Looks like the pox to me too.

How quickly did they appear? She had maybe like 4 last night and an extra 2 today.. Would they not be itching her?

Looks like start of chicken pox to me too

WolfFoxHare · 27/07/2023 19:11

DS took about 24-36 hours for them to come out properly. And they don’t itch at first (or his didn’t).

dementedpixie · 27/07/2023 19:16

Look like bites to me. Are there any on her body or is it just her limbs?

Just her limbs, I can't think where she would have been bitten last night and also today.

You dont always get a reaction right away. Do you have any pets?

FootSoreandFamcyFree · 27/07/2023 19:32

They do look like chicken pox, I’m afraid she needs to stay in till they all crust over.

Nope, no pets so not flea bites!

I’m sorry but they look quite poxy to me too. We didn’t know our eldest had the pox for a few days either, it was so mild

If you're outdoors and walking in grass you can still get flea bites even without pets.

Chicken pox spots would form a fluid filled blister; have any of them done that?

FootSoreandFamcyFree · 27/07/2023 20:03

For context when chicken pox ripped through my dds class she got one spot on her leg. It was a perfect chicken pox spot, looked like a zit until it scabbed over. She wasn’t ill at all, no itchiness, no symptoms but we were pretty sure what it was.

Wazzupw · 27/07/2023 20:06

They look like bites to me too. Perhaps mosquitos or fleas. We dont have pets but my daughter got similar bites recently, though only about 1or 2 a day. Until I found a flea on my arm and killed it. Bites stopped.

I assume it was a rogue one from drying laundry in the garden.

Helpful to know, thank you

Great news! Let's hope it continues for you.

I found 2 more spots/bites on my DD today after a week without. I was sure that flea I found was the culprit, now I'm worried we have more fleas, or worse!

Weirdly one was on her arm near the elbow crease but she was wearing long sleeves overnight and all day as well. Where are these coming from!
