Timodine cream for nappy rash

My 1month old has got nappy rash badly open skin and i was prescribed timodine, only started yesterday morning but it doesnt seem to be doing anything and im getting alot more redness in surrounding areas, like its getting worse? Do i continue to use it and see if it helps or do i stop and go to the doctor

It took a few weeks to clear up properly but there was progress after 2 days. Like it was filming over and spreading a bit as it healed, but no longer raw and it wasn’t as painful for the little one if you know what I mean. If it’s not causing more pain, try it for another day at least x

Our doctor said to use the cream 2 or 3 times a day…deffo go for 3 times if you can, it stops the rash growing back during the day

I hope you spoke to the doc and your baby’s skin is better. We also used timodene to clear thrush for our then 5 week old, but the sore, open skin wouldn’t seem to heal due to (I think) v frequent pooing. my friends mum is a wound care specialist and recommended medihoney for bad nappy rash, you can get it on amazon.
