Hi is this normal? I don't know whether to quickly ring 111 or what she has chicken pox quite badly and just noticed a purpley red rash that isn't going with a glass no idea if this is normal or not?

Yes ring.

Queenbetty · 23/06/2019 15:08

Def ring, it's what they're there for. Could just be them fading, could be something serious. Get it checked.

anitagreen · 23/06/2019 15:09

I will call thank you were only on day 3 of them appearing so seems weird to have this rash on one arm only Confused

Hope you're ok OP and closer to some answers.

WatcherOfTheNight · 24/06/2019 07:13

Morning Anita ,hows Dd ?
Hope you got some answers about the rash

anitagreen · 24/06/2019 10:55

Morning we came home about 11, they said the rash is strange and looked like a meningitis rash or septicaemia I can't remember which one was really worrying, they done her bloods and couldn't see anything wrong with it other than an infection but that probably is the chicken pox, the doctor was lovely and said if the rash goes further up the arm or her temperature goes high again bring her straight in and avoid gp as it'll be quicker. So we are none the wiser at all but I'm glad I took her up, thanks everyone for the support x

NiteWotcha · 25/06/2019 02:17

Humm1ngb1rd · 25/06/2019 02:45

Hope all okay. When my eldest had chicken pox she was taken in with suspected meningitis (rash, high temp, couldn't bear light) . Turned out it was a viral rash - hopefully the same for you.

anitagreen · 25/06/2019 04:31

Viral infection all well feel a bit silly now Blush
