Hi is this normal? I don't know whether to quickly ring 111 or what she has chicken pox quite badly and just noticed a purpley red rash that isn't going with a glass no idea if this is normal or not?

Nothing to be embarrassed about, you did what any parent would have and took medical advice. Hope your dd is on the mend soon Bear Brew Flowers

No, no, you did the right thing. Her symptoms were not run of the mill and could have been sepsis or meningitis as a complication of chicken pox. You didn't know either way because you're not a doctor, so you quickly took her to see a doctor, which was exactly the right thing to do. Thankfully she is fine Smile

Don't feel silly. When my ds was sick I was supposed to call an ambulance if he vomited as it's a sign of sepsis
