I have moved this to child health board as I don't think aibu is appropriate anymore.
What began as a quick question has become 2 now 3
The support on these threads has highlighted the best qualities of mumsnet and I am so grateful to every lovely person who has supported me so far! Thanks

Parker, I have one friend with a DS the same age, they came to visit on Thursday and it was lovely.
When I had DD(6) a lot of friends had babies at the same time, then went back to work and didn't have more. I decided to be SAHM and didn't pick back up with other mums when I had little DD so we are pretty isolated. I am an introvert and find small talk excruciating so it's hard me me to break the barriers and make friends with other mums

Still thinking of you, Little Mae. I'm glad DD seemed a bit brighter today. I'll be crossing my fingers for you tomorrow- I just hope that they come up with a clear plan and that they can answer your questions about the best treatment for her.

MrsOs · 17/04/2016 21:22

Good luck tomorrow will be thinking of you!

cakeycakeface · 17/04/2016 21:40

Good luck tomorrow! Thanks

LaContessaDiPlump · 17/04/2016 22:09

Good luck for tomorrow op and Littlemae!!

As an aside, tomorrow is primary school offer day - does that affect Littlemae this year? I ask as a fellow owner of a 3yo (nearly 4 tbf).

soupmaker · 17/04/2016 22:09

Good luck for tomorrow Mae and little DD.

I know from experience that this is a marathon not a sprint. Please hold on to the knowledge that you are doing everything you can for your little DD.

I've said it before, but I'm repeating it, you're a superstar mum. Thanks

AdelesBeard · 17/04/2016 22:17

Have followed your threads from the start OP but have had nothing helpful to say but delurking now to say you have done amazingly well for your daughter and to wish you both luck for tomorrow. Flowers Star Flowers

Still thinking of you all and wishing you well xx

VagueIdeas · 17/04/2016 23:30

Oh maemae. I've just found this thread. I posted a lot on your earlier threads, but for some reason the second one must have fallen off my Active Conversations and so I haven't been keeping up.

I can't believe they think it's Hirschsprung's because I can't believe no one thought of it earlier. But there's no point looking back right now - I really hope Leicester give you a good, solid plan for DD's treatment and she starts getting this godforsaken backlog shifted Flowers

Youarentkiddingme · 18/04/2016 07:48

Coming to whoop whoop, hand hold and hoping you all at once for today.

You are slipping back into putting yourself down.

Remember - if you hadn't fought for your DD today may be not be happening and answers may not be almost available.

You are amazing - take that amazing mum to Leiscester.

skinoncustard · 18/04/2016 08:10

Good morning Littlemae.
Today's the day !
Stay strong! Kick Ass (as they say) Don't get fobbed off with anymore 'let's try this'. Your DD needs you to get this raised to another level. She's been through a lot , this needs sorted NOW.
Lots of love and good wishes . FlowersStarFlowers

MrsNutella · 18/04/2016 08:16

littlemaemae · 18/04/2016 11:03

Morning, we are on our way very soon.
Not sure what will happen but glad to be getting things moving, so to speak.
The doctors there say they haven't seen a child not respond to klean prep before Confused and she shouldn't be on it for any longer.

She can't get out of bed today, has no energy and had a breakdown when dp got here. She's had enough. Need her home

OP posts:
GreenMarkerPen · 18/04/2016 11:10

you will get her home. soon.
a properly bouncy mad 3year old :)
