my child is dying

My teenage son was diagnosed with cancer on boxing day - we thought he had a cold - and it's incurable. Every piece of news we hear is worse than the last one. We have a few months left only. Is there anyone out there going through something like this - or anyone who has lost a child. I thought it might be good for my sanity to start talking and perhaps even writing ... but not sure where to begin. Worried too about how to protect my 11 year old daughter.

Oh love I am so sorry. I second contacting Winston's Wish when you can.

SnakeyMcBadass · 28/01/2014 19:20

I don't have words. They are all inadequate. From one mother to another, I wish this wasn't happening to your darling boy. If we can give you any comfort, hold fast

Floggingmolly · 28/01/2014 19:24

No words I'm afraid; but God bless you both Flowers

So sorry to hear this. Have you contacted Teenage Cancer Trust, they're an amazing charity who will be able to advise and help. PM me if you need contact details for them. x

I'm so sorry. I hope you and your family are getting support. I taught a boy who died of cancer last year, it's an appalling road to have to travel. Thinking of you and your son.

This thread is 3 years old.

It's totally inappropriate and insensitive that some spammer dragged it up.

If you're still around op Flowers

StealthPolarBear · 03/02/2017 21:43

This is a really awful, sad thread but it is three years old. I suspect the op isn't checking it.
