Sadly we need a second thread :-(

My son Alex was diagnosed with ALL (Leukaemia) in July and we are making our way though the 2 years of treatment that are given here in the Netherlands.

If you want support, or wish to share your story, or can give support please do join us.

It's a shitty journey but together we'll get through it.

Thank you all for your lovely words of support - they help keep me going in the quiet moments.

My poor boy had a very restless night, distressing for me but he is now sleeping peacefully.

He is so beautiful and gentle. In a moment of lucidity yesterday when his granny came to visit he said he would like to offer her tea and biscuits but couldn't get them himself. That is the spirit of who he has always been.

We are surrounded by love and we have had laughter as well as tears.

I can only pray now that he slips gently away peacefully.

I love him so much.

I have no place on this thread either, but just wanted to say how heartbroken I am for you. Will sounds an amazing young man. And from the way you write it is clear how selfless you are and how much compassion for other people you have. Your boys are truly lucky to have you as a mother. I'm thinking of you all and wishing you the strength you need x

Your love for your boys has always shone out of your posts min, that is why we are so upset for you. It just isn't fair.

He sounds lovely - what a sweet thing he said to his granny! I really hope he is peaceful and that you have some RL support xxxx

Another lurker here. I'm so sorry min, this must be unbearable. Will sounds so kind and caring and warm. In my head I picture him as strong, tall, and handsome.
