Trazzletoes · 10/04/2013 20:25

Hi,

Well first of all, I had MY hospital appointment today and my eye is fine as it goes. Phew!

J is still on for release on Friday. Whoop whoop! His oxygen is just being monitored on a spot test tonight rather than for the whole night which is progress again.

He has been for the first of 2 scans today which will show whether the treatment has worked/ whether he has relapsed. Next one is tomorrow morning and then next week he has an MRI and a bone marrow thingy. Plus in 3 times for I/v drugs / physio / occupational therapy as well as trips to the other hospital for radiotherapy planning and I have to fit some work in there somewhere!

Joe is doing so fantastically well though. It's lovely. DD predictably has a fever at home, so nervous about Joe getting re admitted straight away with illness sigh we'll see.

Oh Traz that is just pure dead brilliant. Honestly. Great news. The eye. The oxygen and progress. He is a superstar. You are a superstar.

God, I really, really hope those tests have positive news.

And that DD has one of those overnight things.

Gis a big squeeze Grin

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 10/04/2013 21:38

Phew about your eye - what a relief.

joe seems to be going from strength to strength - it's lovely to ear how he's progressing.

A busy couple of weeks coming up though - do you really have to fit in work around everything else?

I hope that your dd gets better, that's one worry you could do without I'm sure.

Xx
