Another continuation thread for Joseph's ongoing fight against the aggressive cancer, neuroblastoma.

I can empathise Trazzles about work. Just go easy on yourself. You've been through such a lot and getting Joe home is a massive step forward but the amount of appointments coming up shows that there's still lots more work ahead. You need to make sure that you don't take on too much.

DuchessOfAvon · 10/04/2013 22:39

Catching up on so much good news all in one go.

I am keeping all possible digits crossed for home on Friday.....

SocialGrace · 10/04/2013 22:41

So pleased to hear yet more good news, Trazzles; keep it coming!

onedev · 10/04/2013 23:05

Tea said it perfectly Grin

Trazzletoes · 11/04/2013 07:12

Well he's had to be on oxygen again overnight so hold that excitement.

Dammit I just want us all to be home

How frustrating. How low do his sats drop?

Have you asked if you could have a monitor and some 02 cylinders at home for the odd occasion? Probably a long shot, but I've known it to be done in the past.

StealthPolarBear · 11/04/2013 08:33

:(

Poor you, and poor Joe Sad It may be two steps forward, one step back, but try to focus on the 2 steps forward if you can, and you'll get there x

tangledupinpoo · 11/04/2013 12:40

So good to catch up on all the good news about Joe, and that your eye is ok. What a complete fuckbummer (?) that going home is not quite so near now. Exhausting and cruel for you. I'm keeping everything crossed that it's a small setback and you are all home together very very soon.

Badvoc · 11/04/2013 13:28

Ah crap :(
Sorry to hear that.

onedev · 11/04/2013 13:30

Sorry to hear that too - he is making progress overall though so focus on that if you can.

Much love as the rollercoaster continues.

Trazzletoes · 11/04/2013 14:03

Right. As I suspected it appears to have an equipement malfunction. Now I just have to convince the Doctors... This is not going to be easy...

Great news about your eye though and that Joe is progressing so well - keep going trazzles....are they the splodges at the end of the tunnel shining away? Smile

onedev · 11/04/2013 15:00

Bloody hell! Don't they know what's riding on them functioning properly!! Good luck Smile

TeaMakesItAllPossible · 11/04/2013 19:15

Could you just not say that you've got some mumsnetters who'll come round if they don't let Joe home?

After all of the media noise over the last few days we should be able to use our collective force to jailbreak our Joe

Seriously. Really glad the machine was faulty in that it means Joe is ok Grin

narmada · 11/04/2013 19:23

media noise over last few days.... wha? have I missed summat???

thewhistler · 11/04/2013 19:25

Trazzle, all fingers crossed.

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 11/04/2013 19:41

I hope it was the machine at fault and not Joe desaturating. Fingers crossed a more reliable machine is in-situ for tonight. Xx

tholeon · 11/04/2013 19:55

Hope it was the machines. With ds a lot seemed to depend on his position, and how securely the finger thingy was attached xx

Trazzletoes · 11/04/2013 22:06

Hi. I'm sorry for being cryptic but I can't say anymore right now... But please, if you have any faith, please please please pray for my beautiful, happy, loving blue-eyed boy. He might well be more unwell than we thought.

Sorry I can't say more at the moment. Please hold him in your hearts tonight and especially tomorrow.

OP posts:
PseudoBadger · 11/04/2013 22:08

I'm thinking of you and your little boy as always. Sending many many positive thoughts xxx

Badvoc · 11/04/2013 22:09

Oh :(
I will pray as hard as I can.
Holding you both close x

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 11/04/2013 22:10

Trazzles, he is held very closely in my heart just as you, your Dh and DD are too.

I'm not one of any faith, but my gingers are crossed and my positive thinking is heading your way.

Wish I could do more, but I'll be checking in for any updates tomorrow.

Xxxx
