Joe vs. The Cancer

TrazzleMISTLEtoes · 08/12/2012 23:26

My 3 year old DS, Joseph was diagnosed with the cancer Neuroblastoma in October.

Survival rates are approximately 1 in 3.

He's coming to the end of chemo and so far, chemo is kicking cancer's butt. 3 cheers.

Thinking of you all Trazzle. So cruel that Joe is having to go through this, and you too. Saying prayers for you all x

Trazzle, holding you and Joe in the light, with a Dubai splodge....

aftermay · 04/02/2013 21:33

Thinking of you and wishing your son and family strength for the times ahead and a good outcome. I hope Joe gets back to health.

shallweshop · 04/02/2013 21:36

Praying for you all ((()))

NuzzleMyScratch · 04/02/2013 21:39

Trazzle, I've been following you under another nickname. I'm thinking of you, Joe and your family all the time xx

fraktion · 04/02/2013 21:45

Thinking of you trazzle and of course Joe.

Splodging from Normandy.

Trazzletoes · 04/02/2013 22:15

Thank you all. DH and I are getting a lot of comfort from your messages.

ShiftyFades · 04/02/2013 23:02

P4B, that's a fabulous idea.

I can't give blood (turned away 3 times - I'm not good at being told "no").
But for those who can: do it, arrange it tomorrow. Do it with Joe in your heart x

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 04/02/2013 23:08

Trazzle I never post on your thread because I never know what to say.

I'm holding you all so tightly in my heart right now, wishing you all strength - especially Joe. x

bigmouthlala · 04/02/2013 23:10

I will be thinking of you all tomorrow. I feel like I should be saying think positive but somehow that seems wrong and asking too much. This is your time to lean heavily on all around you. We are all willing your boy better on here.

Have also had a namechange, long time Joe cheerleader though.

ninja · 04/02/2013 23:11

I've followed your story from the start. I just wanted to send another splodge from the other side of the Pennines x

I can't imagine what you're going through and you always sound so strong.

I'll be thinking of you x

Cookingupastorm · 04/02/2013 23:16

Adding my positive thoughts, strength, prayers and crossed fingers to the torrent of love and good wishes pouring your way

pinkbraces · 04/02/2013 23:18

Lots and lots of positive thoughts and love sending to Joe and you all. You are always in my thoughts x

moajab · 04/02/2013 23:39

Will be thinking of you, Joe and all your family tomorrow and all the hard days to come. Sending Joe lots of strength and good wishes. xxx

MyHeadWasInTheSandNowNot · 05/02/2013 00:11

As others have said, they do need to be told how difficult their lack of communication makes things :( You could at least have been warned that this was a possibility. It is cruel to spring it on you like this, very cruel :( I appreciate he's doing well and it's the best time for it, but to have been told that might be what happens would really have helped. Your resentment at their intrusion on your week with Jo is completely understandable x

My thoughts are with you all
xxx

[By the way, it's 'me' under a brief namechange, you PM'd me re a certain immunisation :) ]

VenetiaLanyon · 05/02/2013 00:22

Sending all the luck in the world to you and Joe - you're in my thoughts x

saffronwblue · 05/02/2013 08:33

Thinking of you Trazzle. What big and immediate stuff to be dealing with. Try to think that the sooner they get on with it, the sooner he will hopefully be over the worst of it. So many positive thoughts and splodges going your way.

CelticPromise · 05/02/2013 08:46

I haven't caught up with Joe's story for a while, just wanted to say I'll be thinking of and praying for you all and willing him on.

ToffeeWhirl · 05/02/2013 09:43

Thinking of you and Joe today, Trazzle. And MrTrazzle too, of course. X.

Liz79 · 05/02/2013 12:24

Been lurking/following Joe's progress since the beginning, all the very best to you all over the next few weeks. I'm just off to google when I can give blood

catkind · 05/02/2013 12:33

Many many good wishes from here.
