World Book Day costumes - share pics of this year's costumes to win a bumper crop of WBD goodies.

In case you haven't heard, it's World Book Day next week and we want to know what inspired (or desperate) costume feats are you going to pull off this year. Upload your pictures to this thread and we'll pull out a winner from the Mumsnet WBD Hat on Monday 9th March.

The winner will receive an array of Dear Zoo goodies including: bundle of signed books, book and toy set, finger puppet set, mini backpack, plastic craft apron, socks and a bowl, plate, mug set and for older readers we have a set of signed Goth Girl books and a set of signed Geek Girl books plus red sparkly Geek Girl glasses. And of course a full set of the £1 books.

Alice - not the best photo because it doesn't show any of her accessories (cake, bottle, dormouse, rabbit with waistcoat and watch) but the one I have with me from this morning. I am rather proud of it because I started with just cheap fabric and a lot of googling!

I have a Wally, a Princess Mirror-Belle (complete with Dragon Pox) and a Zog. What a great, inspirational day! I wish we'd done this when I was a child.

My daughter went as the mouse from A New House for Mouse by Petr Horacek. It's her favourite ever book and she was so pleased to go to school as Mouse today. All homemade, I'm not good at sewing but I'm creative thank goodness! #WBD2015
