How often do you go out?

A bit random, but I always wonder what others do. How often do you go out with friends, to classes, out with partner etc on a typical month? For context, I am 30, full-on career, long term partner.

Yet another example of why this topic is nonsense. Me, mid 40s, no kids, live alone. My friend, mid 40s, one kid away at uni, lives alone. Funnily enough, we go out a similar amount because we are in similar situations. Hmm

This makes no sense. One of you could be a hugely sociable extrovert and one a homebody. Having similar situations doesn’t automatically mean you’ll go out as much as each other.

This post was on active because of all the comments. Maybe if you ignored those who mentioned their children it wouldn’t come up.

Maybe parents could not contribute on the child free board.

It'll come up on active whoever posts. Perhaps, as NeonSoda said, parents could refrain from giving us their opinions on a board specifically not meant for them.

Edited

It does say everyone is welcome to post. I just suggested stop explaining yourselves every time. I can guarantee every time your board appears on active there is a conversation where a parent is arguing with someone childfree about their rights to post.

As I said it’s just a suggestion.

Oh look, someone else telling us what to do on our dedicated board. There's no end to it, is there?

And there's the problem, right there, that would be solved if parents went 'ooh, the childfree board, not for me to post.'

You know what? I have no problem restraining myself from posting on breadtfeeding threads or parents of adult children threads or Black Mumsnetter threads because they're not aimed at me and I have nothing to contribute. Why can't parents show similar respect to us on the Childfree board?

Every fucking thread. Every fucking thread.

Again. Read the intro to the board. Everyone is allowed to post.

It was a suggestion. As it’s not a one off surely you all can just agree to ghost anyone who says “I have children but…”
