I'm looking for after school care for my 3.5 yr old.

I would prefer a nanny or nanny share (as I'd like the care to be in our own home) but if there are any suitable childminders out there then please drop me a line.

The Details

We live in SE18 but she goes to school in Chislehurst. She finishes at 3.30 so your job would be to pick her up in Chislehurst at 3.30 and take her home or on to after school activities and get her tea. Your core hours would be until 7pm but I would appreciate some degree of flexibility in case of work emergencies.

There is some flexibility around this as my mum may be able to take her one day a week and my husband may be able to arrange to work from home one afternoon a week, so if you are unable to work 5 days then please still get in touch as arrangements can be made.

This position starts in January.

If this isnterests you then please get in touch.

Hello!

I'm a parent looking for a lovely local childminder to collect my daughter from Alexandra school in Beckenham/Penge.

Need a place from January 2010, it's only 8 weeks away, so I want to get something arranged asap.

Please email me on [email protected] if you think you can help, stating where you are based and how much you charge.

Thanks.

tokengirl · 28/11/2009 22:40

Hi, I'm looking for childcare in Cambridge to start January to include a Mayfield school pickup.
Children: 4y (at school), 21m, both fairly well behaved.

Up to April, I need 3 full days a week (possible odd extra days if convenient).

After the younger one starts nursery,(April-ish) it would be an after-school(3:15 pickup)/nursery(4pm pickup) and holiday job.

Not on a lawyers salary but temp nanny might be possible short term. Longer term, a nannyshare, childcare/education student or childminder in the correct location (I don't drive) would probably be better.

Would consider nanny with own child though would need to think about ages/personalities of children etc.

Thanks for reading.

Hi there,

I'm looking for a nanny housekeeper in E14 for two boys aged 5 and 3.5. Includes school and nursery pick-up.

The hours are 11am - 7pm in termtime and 7:30am-7pm in school holidays. There's also the opportunity (but not obigation) for babysitting some evenings.

Please email me on [email protected] for more details.

The boys are happy and well behaved. Our current nanny is very fond of them but needs to leave for health reasons.

Thanks!

SE13Mummy · 29/11/2009 20:46

We are two professional families each living within walking distance of Lewisham hospital who are looking for a modern Mary Poppins (Monday to Wednesday, ideally term-time only but this isn't set in stone).

The role involves looking after four children aged 5, 3, 13 months and 8 months. Working hours would be 8am - 6pm during which time you would have sole charge of the two babies. The 5 year old is in school full-time so needs to be taken and collected each day, the 3 year old will need to be taken to and from morning sessions at pre-school.

The nanny will be able to make use of both homes during the day and will not require a car.

The perfect nanny will

  • have experience of caring for two babies at the same time
  • be Ofsted registered (or eligible for registration and willing to undertake this with our support)
  • have an excellent standard of spoken and written English
  • be a non-smoker
  • be weatherproof!
  • have excellent organisational skills
  • be fun, firm and fair

Please don't be put off by the fact we have four children between us; you will only have charge of all four for an average of 2 hours a day!

Hi, we are needing a CM for 2 or 3 days a week (not the same days though, they change from week to week but can give plenty of notice) for my 2 youngest girls aged 3 and 16months and very occassional before and after school care for my 6yr old.

We're in Tayport in North East Fife and would need help starting mid Jan. We can be very flexible and the girls are lovely, although I admit to being a tad biased!

not sure if there are any Scottish CMers on here in our area but I thought I'd give it a whirl

LucyLoosMum · 01/12/2009 21:24

I'm looking for childcare in 0x11 (village outside didcot). Returning to work in Jan and need either:

  • a three full day nanny(Mon-Wed)looking after a 10 mth old boy and taking 3 yr old daughter to nursery (soon village pre school)

or

  • three day after nursery nanny for both kids (who would be in the same nursery). Involving pickup.

The perfect nanny will

  • have experience of caring for range of ages
  • have excellent spoken and written English
  • be a non-smoker
  • have excellent organisational skills
ravenAK · 02/12/2009 20:28

Looking for a nanny/CM in Huddersfield.

Hours would be from 8am-5pm (with occasional flexibility an advantage...) & optional occasional babysitting.

You'd be looking after a 2 year old ft, a 3 year old after morning nursery session & a 5 year old after school - we'd need you to do some of the pick ups & drops.

Lovely well-behaved dc - current CM is giving up due to own family commitments.

Would consider care in either our home or yours! To start in the New Year.

Hi

We're looking for a childminder or nanny for 2 children (3.5yrs girl and 1.5 years boy). It is a full time (Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm) arrangement save that my older daughter goes to nursery 2-3 mornings a week.

We're looking to start 3rd week of Feb 2010.

We live in Weybridge and I work in Thames Ditton so if you are living there or in the surrounding areas (Esher/Woking/Moseley/Walton/Hersham/Byfleet etc) and are able to help, please do get in touch.

HonestBetty · 10/12/2009 20:35

We are hoping to have another baby in 2010, so would like the same person for the next few years, looking after both our DCs.

The perfect nanny will

  • be reliable and turn up on time
  • clean and/or iron when our baby/babies are asleep
  • prepare her/their meals when the nanny is looking after them
