orobably January for me then as Oct 12th. Just wondering how long they are shut for over Xmas. Extremely stressful!

If I could take a guess be 24th 25th 26th and 27th then open till 30th then shut again till 3rd January cause of all holidays I don’t see any staff working but I may be wrong im ringing next Monday as be my 12th week

I’m the 12th September & anxiously waiting! I feel like I’m watching the phone incase it rings! I don’t want to ring up though and block the lines, I just keep telling myself I’ll soon know!

Congratulations to those awarded today. I’ve been following this feed for what feels like a lifetime….my scan date is 16th September but I’ve not heard anything yet. The waiting just gives me major anxiety even though I try not to think about it it’s impossible not too! I don’t want to call because if they decline my claim I’ll probably cry on the phone like a weirdo! Hopefully I’ll hear soon - the waiting and not knowing is bloody painful! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Can I ask what evidence you sent in and if they called you or professionals to ask further questions?? I’ve not heard a thing but trying to still be positive….the waiting is a nightmare isn’t it!

@KaidensMummy0307 I sent his diagnosed of Asd and a letter from community paediatrician. No I didn’t get a call. The wait is awful I know, what is your scan date? X

@Lozzaaaaa im still waiting for an appointment which is equally as painful! I only sent a speech and language report and referral paperwork for assessment. Our scan date is the 16th so I’m assuming we might hear this week. Can’t bring myself to phone them - the holding is so long and if they said no on the phone to me I dunno whether I’d cry or be really annoyed (probably both!) congratulations on your award 😊

@Lozzaaaaa aww thank you, I’ve got everything crossed too! Did they say when you’d receive a letter or payment?? If I don’t call I just wonder how soon I’d be notified….xx

@KaidensMummy0307 They have sent a letter and a payment in a couple of days. No idea when the letter will come though. Sometimes they can text but I know not everyone does get a text and it seems it’s pot luck if you do. I didn’t get one xx

Just called. Still with the DM (as it was last week). Scan date 7th September (so we are 13.5 weeks).

I just wish we had a decision. We have been paying for OT privately for my son since the summer. I’ve had to put it on hold as we just can’t afford it every week now.

I’m hoping he will be awarded something and with the backdating we can afford to finish the block that was recommended.

Hi my scan date is 19 September and called today to say it was now a decision maker. I swear I more nervous now than I have been for the last 12 weeks.

@Kaygre16 oh gosh that must mean mine is with a DM too! My date is the 16th Sept. I agree, the nerves at this point are worse than the entire waiting time put together. Hopefully you get some good news very soon

My Scan is 20th I'm hoping ours is with DM soon

Scan date 14th September I called today spoke to a lovely man and he said I was awarded today. I didn’t receive a text or anything good luck everything x
