ooooh.you;re a busy bee! tea room, bar and staff room....quite the social butterfly !

KaySamuels · 18/05/2007 07:48

Shosha Kalms are my guilty secret!! I always have them in, am actually very 'comfortable' driving, I find it very soothing and can't wait to get on the raod all by myself! The calms are for inspections, nvq assessments, seeing / speaking to my mum, and general bad days!

A cuppa would be fab thanks!

Shoshable · 18/05/2007 08:08

I would have never past my last test without them Kay, learning to drive at 46 is not good IME,

Lulu thank you for calling me a Social Butterfly, BOM and Gibb just call me a thread Ho

looneytune · 18/05/2007 10:19

Morning everyone

I'm about to put the kettle on but fancy a flapjack to go with it - anyone got any today????

This weekend.........errrrr........party for ds at local soft play tomorrow (dh out for the day) and usual cleaning/paperwork, nothing exciting Everyone else?

My nightmare baby wasn't AS BAD yesterday and so far so good today I'm hoping she's sort of settling into a routine now so I don't have to give notice - not worth giving 2 months notice and probably have a perfect baby by the end of it!!!

julia5 · 18/05/2007 10:46

Morning all. Here's flapjack, its still warm so you'll probably get indigestion but yummy.
No mindees today, off on hols on sunday, first holiday abroad with DP and DSs. Hehe I went for a girly beach hol with my sisters last summer, just us girls !

fifilou · 18/05/2007 10:47

i've just dropped off lovely b1 to a party, hes not at school today as his school has an open day tomo and the teachers are having the day to organise things. ( i think they are all at the pub to be honest!)

Anyway, b2 is at school and then off for a sleepover, so i dont have him today (im acutally going to miss him) anyway, b1 said after his party he wanted us to have time together as he never gets me to himself! how cute.

So............we are off to the movies!!!!! any PGs anyone can recomned? hes 7.

also top wknd planned. FA cup final and all that. come on manc! (im actualy LFC,but hey, support the north, not the wedge pocket filled chelsea boys)

anyone got any choc cake? m dying for a slice!

crace · 18/05/2007 10:48

LT - let's hope things are on the up huh? Poor wee thing, and poor you

Just had the pregnant mum here -which I must say it's a bit difficult to talk about care when there is no baby. I told her that it would be ideal to talk in September (for Jan start) when she knew more about what she was doing. Anything could happen really (I didn't say this to her btw), and that she could change her mind about work!

Really nice woman though, and dd and mindee were good. I have another little boy coming 11.30-4.30 as an ad hoc thing but he is exhausting so must say not looking forward to that one.

MaureenMLove · 18/05/2007 10:57

Morning all! The sun came out - yay! Went straight to the park after school this morning and just came back via ginger bread man shop. Mindee1(18mths) sleeping and mindee2(3) eating said man and drinking milk for elevensees!

Fifi, I would like to draw your attention to yesterdays staff room, when you promised to make cake for us and I believe I cleared a space in the cupboard for it too!

MaureenMLove · 18/05/2007 10:59

And another thing - aren't B1 & B2 bananas in pyjamas!
I really should get out more!

fifilou · 18/05/2007 11:02

They are yes! I meant boy one see? I dont get all the abreviations. whats DH? Whats DS?

I need to learn more!!!!!

Erm....about the cake.........erm.....well......

Oh, yes thats it, I made a really big one then last night my bosses and the boys ate it all...they always do.

sorry.

julia5 · 18/05/2007 11:08

Hiya Fifi have a look at the acronym list at the top of the page, it will explain all those confusing Ds and DH things. No cake here but I've brought flapjack

MaureenMLove · 18/05/2007 11:08

Check out the acronym list at the top of the page, that'll help, but some of them aren't on there! Its taken me months to work out what an LO is! I'm still guessing, but I assume its loved one/s!

looneytune · 18/05/2007 11:11

dmo · 18/05/2007 11:20

fifilou · 18/05/2007 11:25

oh i get it now.

very good.

I like flapjack, but i like dunking it. Its very bad manners isnt it?!

My boss asked me where on earth the boys had got their idea of dunking , and i just giggled and said 'hey love, employ a northener love and you get dunking kids!'

she takes it all very well, especially now that they say bath not barth, and giraffe not girarfe!

julia5 · 18/05/2007 11:33

Manners schmammers we don't care

fifilou · 18/05/2007 11:34

tatty bye now!

looneytune · 18/05/2007 12:02

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - baby was really tired and doing the usual crying but we're trying to not give in to her every cry Anyway, in vibrating chair and was staring at me, cried if I moved my eyes and then I thought 'sod this, she's tired, i'm going to try the pretending to go to sleep thing ' and guess what, no time at all and there she was, fast asleep (had to make sure I didn't actually fall asleep though LOL)

So, I now have half hour (hopefully she'll stay asleep) to make something to eat, write yesterday's mindee diary (dad arrived nearly half hour early and it wasn't done as only have her in my house from around 3), do today's diary for baby so far, eat, get baby in car seat and dash off to collect ds from lunch club!!!

[Looney runs for her life before baby wakes up!]
