Hi everyone. Crace thinking of you. Not working today, my monday family are on holiday this week so have sorted out toys.
Mo- I've got various buggies stored in the garage, small stroller, pram x 2 plus double buggy they do take up a lot of room.

PinkChick · 14/05/2007 16:17

how did it go chick?.x

PinkChick · 14/05/2007 16:21

well girls, i have had afternoon off so me and dd have baked cakes and coverd them in royal icing, sprinkles, simpsons candy shapes and flower/animal edible shapes, had the play doh out and made pizzas, had a tea party with the bratz and several other dubious charichters! and done loads of colouring in(dd has had me 'trying' to dra peppa pig, george and dora!...heres a good tip if no one has thought of it already, i got a few strips of wallpaper recently to stick up on dd's wall to see which we waned to go with..took them down yesterday and they have made fatastic big freeze pictures best thing is the pens/paints dont go straight through like normal paper! and it was free as you just tear off a strip as a sample!

mumlove · 14/05/2007 16:27

Mindees went home at 2.20pm and 4pm, DD has just helped me to tidy up, now we have her reading to do.
My morning of having the childminding group here was very quite as only 2 others turned up (total - 3 adults and 8 children), so my house was not trashed.

crace - how are you? Don't worry if you would rather not say.

LoveMyGirls · 14/05/2007 16:32

Today has been such a let down, really wanted to see our new house and couldnt because the previous occupants havent given the keys back

Dp has stropped and overall not good (basically sulking because he hasn't seen the new house and i didnt want him to go out and play snooker because i wanted him here to watch dd2 while i took mindee home) says he wasted a day off cleaning and doing erands and didnt even get to see the house which is why he had the day off, he's been under my feet so now he's gone out to play snooker to try and salvage some of the day apparently.

The lady who was meant to be coming for her son to start tomorrow isn't coming either because her dd is ill (fair enough)

At least there is peace now, girls are all being good and i'm doing home made burger and chips as a treat.

It's bad news, I lost the baby early this morning - from what I described to the doctor I lost the baby a couple of weeks ago..

It's been utterly crap really, an all weekend nightmare but I am physically progressing as I should and am jumping back into work and life tomorrow as I need my mind off of it, and surrounding myself with my mindees is the perfect solution.

Thanks everyone for their kind messages - just one of these sad things in life. xx

hennipenni · 14/05/2007 16:51

So sorry to hear your news crace, be kind to yourself and take time to grieve. xx

PinkChick · 14/05/2007 16:52

ah sweetheart, please give yourself a bit of breathing space, i knwo you will want to throw yourself back into it, but at least make sure you can talk properly to dh/dp or your frineds in RL as you cant always be expected to put on a happy face.xxx

LoveMyGirls · 14/05/2007 16:52

Oh crace

looneytune · 14/05/2007 16:58

Oh Crace You poor thing. PinkChick is right and also, you have to think of yourself PHYSICALLY too. I don't know the details but I know when I lost mine, I had no energy whatsoever and was totally foggy headed/weak. If your body is going through a lot still (without wanting to go into details), please take care of yourself. I know you want to take your mind off things but you don't want to end up being really poorly and needing even more time off in the end.

Sending lots of [[[[hugs]]]]

crace · 14/05/2007 17:38

Thanks girls, you are right of course, I will take it easy. This week I will take it very slow and ease back into life - I've had my meltdown over it with Dh yesterday so sort of starting to deal with it. I am upset, but I am taking a lot of comfort in nature that there was something wrong with the baby or me or something and that this happened for a reason. There was nothing I could have done - which is the rational side of me speaking of course. The emotional side is coping less well - it was still my baby, and I was excited and I am sad for the future it won't have..

Sorry, I am rambling but I have sought out support everywhere - am not one to bottle things in by any stretch I am ok, and I will take the time off if I need it but I am just trying to see how I get on first.

MaureenMLove · 14/05/2007 18:59

So sorry to hear your news crace. We're always here to talk to. There's no need to go onto the miscarrage thread, at least one or two of us have been there - me included. Take care xxx
